Hey man, hello from Indianapolis. Thanks for your videos! I can tell you love your ST (probably as much as I love mine too). I bought my ST2 new in June 2014 and use it as my daily driver. We also have a Renegade and 2014 Mustang GT 5.0 California Special with a glass roof. Frankly, the ST is my favorite. June 2017 I decided to upgrade to the Ford Performance Power Pack with CAI. I had planned on picking up a new ST with the model refresh but I'm so disappointed that we will not have it here in the US market. So, I've decided to hold on to my car for at least another 3 or 4 years and I'm adding the Ford Performance Exhaust next week. Your videos have me sold on it. Now, I'm 39; I don't get the impression that this is a really immature sounding exhaust. Fingers crossed because I've not heard it in person. My Ford dealership specializes in Roush, but they swear I'll love this exhaust. Again, thanks for the videos; I enjoy watching them.

Does that have any fiberglass or steel wool packing in it? I'm hoping to get a ST before the year is over. The stock exhaust is just to quiet for me. I currently have an 07' focus, yours sounds close to my Flowmaster 40 Series Delta flow w/ resonator delete. It's loud enough to be noticed but not loud enough to piss off the neighbors The Flowmaster doesn't have any packing material, in theory the exhaust note will never change, it's strictly a baffled unit!

I spoke with Randy at MountuneUSA and asked him about this exhaust not showing up on the site and he said, "No, that is not something we are selling now." I'm not sure if they ran out of stock or if they're no longer offering it, but it sounds like they're not longer offering it. I also spoke with my ford dealership and they said that intake and exhaust will not void the warranty in any way but intercooler and tune will UNLESS you go with Mountune or Ford Performance. Hope this helps anybody considering mods for their car. I put a Boomba Racing BOV on my 2017 a couple weeks ago and it sounds great, but, it will blow off if you let off the throttle even the tiniest little bit.

Do you have the “fake sound input” that Ford puts on some of their cars installed? If you dont, what does this sound like on the inside with/without it?

Nice review; detailed enough to be interesting. I was wondering if you still have your symposer (sp) installed? Once my after-market exhaust was installed, I couldn't move quick enough to remove that overload cockpit sound. I know it's the real sound of the 2.0L, but the amount of accentuation they add makes it sound superficial to me. It's much more pleasing, IMO, to hear the actual exhaust and the intake sound plus turbo......BTW, have you added the limited slip differential yet? If not, I know how much you enjoy this car and you should do yourself a big favor and drop in the LSD. After you do, I'm fairly certain it will become your favorite ST mod by a long way. Turns it into the car Ford should have put out, and the car you'll appreciate even more....cya

I like this exhaust. The sound it's just right, medium range.

So the nice sound inside with windows closed is that the symposer or is the sound on the video coming from the exhaust.

Awesome exhaust, ordered mine this past week. One question though. Do I need to buy exhaust hangers when I go to install this Exhaust or can I use the stock hangers from the stock catback?

I installed the Cobb exhaust on my 2013 Focus ST. Though it may sound great outside, the loud bass sound in the cabin is terrible. I can hear the exhaust over my music most of the time. It sounds as if I had a 12" subs bumping from behind my headrest. I've installed sound proofing from the rear seat back and it is still obnoxiously loud. To be honest, I regret installing this exhaust system. My question for you is this, how loud is this exhaust inside the cabin? Thank you.

I don't have any motor mounts on mine and I'm thinking of putting the same exhaust on my car, in your 2 part install you had said it vibrated some. Just wondering if the vibration with the new exhaust would ne enough of a pain to have to get motor mounts just want to see your thought on that

Is there any difference between the Ford performance and the borla exhaust? I know Borla made the Ford performance one. Did they make them the same or are there differences? They sound pretty similar, and they both sound great

you know anything about the roush package from ford. I was in the peoria ford dealership and they had a package that was around $1300 for the exhaust and the intake

Now I know this one is made by Borla, but Borla has another one for the focus ST which doesn't have a resonator. Do you think that one is louder or probably the same? Thanks

Hey so I’m going to get an exhaust soon but I’m wondering if getting one will overpower the sound of my intake and bov. I love the sort of “turbo flutter” sound at low rpm that the intake gives me.

I can't say I like any aftermarket exhaust for the FoST. I think they all sound fairly crappy. The only thing I think would sound good is a catless downpipe mated to stock exhaust.

Muffler. A catted aftermarket downpipe won't make it illegal but it could give you warranty issues.
