Just bought thinking in bets because of you. I appreciate every book recommendation you give! This is my favorite type of content: where you take the 20000ft view and a long time frame and think about how small changes in key variables over a long time can equal those large returns. Especially appreciate the discussion of high PEs and how it’s such a negative for already-recognized high-growth companies.

If neither of you have done the work to look into Bolloré its a bit of work to figure out their spaghetti corporate structure but it is worth the work. I love the pod keep it up!

This is was interesting and insightful I had to stop whatever I was doing and actually watch the video so I could get everything, unlike a regular podcast. The whole 240 thing really puts things into perspective and helps you understand how you understand how small a business has to be in order to be a 10-bagger. Also gave me a better idea of how people would be willing to invest in a company (that retail company in India) with 125x P/E multiple because the company grows EPS at 40% p.a. Seems like it would just take 240/40 = 6 years for the stock to be a 10 bagger assuming the P/E remains fixed.

Hi, Geoff and Andrew, thank you for the content, it's great! However, the math does not sound right to me. Triple of the multiple in 10 years means CAGR of 12%, plus the 8% company growth equals 20% CAGR, compounding this 20% for 10 years only gets us a 6.2 baggers. Am I missing something here?

Hey Geoff, I would like to know your opinion on the criticisms made on the book the Halo Effect on Jim Collin's books (since you have previously recommended them).

Can I check very small companies in QuickFS? I tried searching for companies like VLGEA or HWIN and if I'm not wrong I couldn't find them. In Gurufocus most of these small companies have wrong data, but at least I can see them or screen.

What does geoff think about the new facebook shop feature ?

Don't compare Buffet of now to Buffet of 50 years ago. He is looking for totally different companies now based on size alone.
