This is brilliant! Thanks a lot! Could you tell me what "accounting change" you are referring to?

Hope the late reply helps, but I'm assuming it refers to the change in the treatment of operating leases, which are now capitalised and mentioned on the balance sheet.

When you are adding the depreciation back to to the PP&E for invested capital, don't you also have to add it back to the income?

is there a way to practically use the ROIC when the total capital ends up being negative because of more C&CE + Investments than Equity and Debt (usually neg equity) other than just saying it's negative and it has infinite returns? Like is there a way to compare 2 companies with neg total capital (and therefore neg ROIC) from an ROIC perspective?

Hi, if I use the net working capital + fixed asset + goodwill I can get negative number sometimes since I don’t include cash and investment and the current liabilities are too much. Am I doing something wrong?

The company likely has some type of float. (Of course, assuming the company’s profitable) The company likely gets lots of deferred revenue.
