Excuse the fair quality of this one, but there isnt a lot of new footage of Lonesome Dave videos making appearance, so I am sure Foghat fans will at least be appreciative of this video

If you would’ve seen Dave Peverett at the grocery store or just out in public somewhere and didn’t know who he was you’d never be able to tell he was one of the most dynamic musicians (front man, SINGER and guitarist) the world has ever known. A one of a kind, a beautiful human being, an honorable man, a family man, a lovely soul. God bless you Dave Peverett. I love you man !!!!!!!

Agree. No disrespect to Charlie Huhn who has kept the flag flying, but it's a thankless task replacing someone so gifted.

With shorter hair he doesn't look like a rockstar at all lol more like any kid in any highschool of that time, I realize he was well past that age at that time but he does kinda look like a kid with that hair. RIP Lonesome Dave!

These guys kicked ass!! Very underrated band! Their albums and shows were electric, bluesy and romping. Dave was an outstanding vocalist with power, range and creativity on par w Plant, Daltrey, Dio and Mercury. Foghat- one of the best rock bands in rock history but gravely overlooked

The best boggie blues, rock band ever, I had the pleasure of metting Roger Earl at a small pub in my city of Rockland, we spoke for quite some time an amazing person. years before I met the whole band at a brewery pub I worked at in Port Jeff Long Island. Great people ,enjoyed many of there preformances.

They were part of one the greatest rock bands in history. Such humble guys. Thank you for all of the great music. I was a teenager in the 70s, your music was part of the soundtrack of my life.

@gvalley07. I hear ya. I had an older brother by 4 years who had all the Foghat stuff in the 70s. Sadly, we lived in New Zealand at the time, so the chance of seeing the band were zilch. I did em8grate to England in the 80s, but Foghat never played there to my knowledge. The current edition of Foghat? Well. I would see them if they were in the area I am in, but sadly, ir ain't the same band now. Even Charlie Huhn is missed.

To be honest, I wasn't aware Craig Mcgregor died. It's like because he is not a household name a la Taylor Hawkins, you don't find out until you randomly Google. Same thing for Tony Stevens Roger, on the other hand, deserves massive attention when it's his time. No Roger No Foghat

I believe it was 1977 and Foghat was my very first concert ever. LA Forum CA, Eddie Money opened up. I'm here to tell you lol Foghat played like it was they're last day on earth, they went phucking OFF! Talk about giving 100%!! Stuck with me till this day. I was 14 at the time, the following year I started playing the drums (still play) and when I used perform my lesson from Foghat was, when you go up on stage no matter how many people are out there you kick major ass and play like it's your last day on earth! Peace

I would have LOVED to have seen the real Foghat (I.e with Dave or Rod). I actually emigrated to London in 87 solely because I was suffering in NZ with the lack of decent bands touring. Stayed in London till 2001, and Foghat never toured, even during the reunion. I find that hard to work out. I did at least meet Rod Price in a small pub in the late 80s when he played with his good mate Shaky Vick, and have the photos to prove it.

The way I was introduced to foghat was through the Miller genuine draft commercials. I don't know if anyone remembers them using songs from the 1970s in the 1990s advertisements. Of course the song that I heard on the commercial was slow ride. Honestly, I had no idea who it was until I was listening to the radio. Then the second song years later that I heard on the radio was full for the city, then of course their remake of Willie Dixon's I just want to make love to you. These guys are awesome. Rest in peace Dave.

Just stumbled on to this interview and had no idea that they shot that video in my home town of Wilkes-Barre. The venue had several names but at this time it was called the station. They also played a concert there and I was fortunate enough to have gotten one of Dave's guitar picks.

I was also at the Foghat Blues Tribute at the Palladium (NYC). I can still see this girl on top of some guys shoulders giving two middle fingers to John Lee Hooker. A lot of people didn’t appreciate the beauty of that show.

My brother happened to stop down at the old 'Station' complex in Wilkes Barre the day they were filming that music video for 'Slipped, Tripped, Fell in Love.' Not sure who the director or producers were, but it's a crazy and convoluted production to be sure. Nice to see both Dave and Roger mention my home town though! Thanks for posting this.

I hate to say it, but I agree with you here. I was not a big Charlie Huhn fan in the beginning myself, but given the chance, I would have seen them. I have never seen Foghat live (Although I saw Rod Price in London as a guest guitarist in London 1988), and having seen the current front man in Foghat, you'd have to pay me to see them. What the hell happened Roger?

@@lucasramos5105 Yeah - Its just uploading now. It is not exactly the best quality, but essential for a hungry Foghat fan. I also have a rather poor quality video of Foghat from 1993, and just like the 1986 video I posted, I dont know who any of the guitarists and singers are, and you dont even get to see Roger Earl in the video, so I cant see myself uploading it unless there is a demand for it
