I'm really glad to hear something like this to where you're able to see the mechanics of how something is put together and utilize it with your own tools. That's my goal for all my educational videos for everyone on here

Hmm Hoover territory ok, a video about bass terminology would be very helpfull for newcomers. I remember really struggeling to find help on bass sounds that i didn't know the names of like reese or stab basses way at the beginning of my journey. It's really hard to get that information if you don't have the luck that one of the youtubers you know happens to make a tutorial for it. Already learned so much from your tutorials dude, keep it up!

love the sound design videos, can you consider doing a sound design QA? talking through the purpose of each part of a patch to accomplish the end sound (like you did here) is super helpful.

Yes I do. That's a distorted to hell square wave with some fm. add an lfo for the amplitude and you have that wobbly pitchy sound. Disprove's "Damage" has a very similar sound

This is the first time I'm using phaseplant so what am I looking at?! 2:15 How do I make the knobs look like that in the upper left corner? For me, they're just bunch of macros

@@Alckemy Will do! Though, after diving very aggresively into this synth, watching "shortcut trix" and such I've never been this seduced by a vst before. Serum is basically the equivilence of "if you'd only be able to use 5 lines of code in each function." Just so endless...
