The Reese Bass is a staple of many electronic sub-genres, from Drum & Bass through Jungle to Dubstep and more. The phase cancellation caused by two or more slightly detuned (or otherwise shifted) waveforms gives a rich and ever-evolving sound, for filtered rumbles, screeching stacks, or anything in between. What is a Reese Bass? Pretty much anything you want it to be, as long as it's phasing against and modulating itself. Beyond that, your imagination is the only limit.

Would recommend experimenting with putting your sub in a separate group with its own output, and sending it to a lane without processing (or with a compressor to then combine the two wave forms), so you have a clean sub!

this sound is cool! a lot of the modulations towards the end I would consider negligible and not complimentary of the sound. adding frequency modulation to the phase of one generator to another is what I would recommend to anyone trying to create a unique reese bass.

Oh, good question. The MIDI keyboard? Or the computer keyboard? The MIDI keyboard is a very cheap little thing with SubZero written on it. I think it's an in-house brand from a music retailer from the UK... though I may be misremembering. The computer keyboard is, I think, some kind of old standard microsoft-issue thing. /George
