I think they talked about this on one of the livestreams, didn't they? Gotta say I do get the vibe of "we are singing this as fast as possible to *get it over with*."

They did talk about this on one of the live streams, maybe a Q & A. Not sure, but they sang a part of the song and said that they would never do anything like this again because it was so dreadful.
