I normally don’t post on social media but this right here has touched my heart and soul! I hate that you all even had to address the last video this way! Even as new or old subscribers…anyone can tell by the video where you all were coming from! Some people will assume and say anything for attention! Please keep the content coming from all aspects of your life because I love it and you inspire me more than what you know!! May God continue to bless your marriage and family!! Much love from TN! ❤

❤ yes I really needed to hear all that you both are sharing. I'm new to your channel and I love it. I met my husband when I was 16 years old and we've been married for 48 years and counting. Yes I feel like you Mrs Donna. I feel selfish and guilty when I even think of doing for myself. Our children are all grown, we have 5 sons, but we have raised our 1st born grandson from the time he was born and he just turned 18 years old and I'm having trouble letting go. Hearing your video is helping me understand myself. You and your husband are a blessing to me and I'm sure many others and I also love your cooking videos. Again thank you both. I pray my husband and I can begin to just start going on vacations and enjoying one another's company more by ourselves.

Exactly 💯. Your last video revealed a level of humanity and vulnerability that is often missing in modern society. Even though I don't have a similar experience since I am not a wife or mother but as I watched I could only imagine how many people could relate to your experience on a personal level. Thanks for being authentic. Keep doing you! ❤❤❤

Yes Dude #1, that old empty-nest syndrome is hard on “mothers “. We have to learn to let go 😢. But dads do have those feelings too. My guy cried every time he put our daughter on a plane going back to school 😢. I really enjoyed watching him nurture her (so sweet).

I raised four children by myself with the help of my mom and dad. I had to raise them to be independent because their father was not in the home. It was a very traumatic experience. I can identify with Donna on letting them "fly" on their own. But at some point, you have to let them go. It's hard but fair. Your children will always need you at some point in their lives, whether in the home or out on their own. I throughly understand how Donna feels.

We have a choice to watch or choose to not to watch. We don’t need to be critical of every thing and post ugly or nasty things. I am a single mother of now two young adult sons on their own. We were abandoned by my husband years ago but praise be to God, God showed himself faithful. I was thinking i just found y’all two days ago. Imagine going through the empty nest and them not needing you when all you had was them! But God taught me by the Holy Spirit the things y’all are discussing now. So, I said Lord, you’re so good. I had no one to share these struggles with but you are faithful. I aged out of the foster care system so I didn’t even have mamas or grandparents for guidance. Look how God doesn’t leave none of his babies out! He comforts us all!

I am not a mother yet. I did watch my own mother go through this. I was a whole 19 yrs old and moving to a new city. I remember my mom telling me she wasn't ready for me to be away from her. She was a mom her entire life. She has been married over 35 yrs and she still craves motherhood and has issues hoovering. My dads the total opposite. I can tell you love your family. I'm a family person and when the time comes for me, I am sure this transition will be hard. Thanks for sharing the reality. You did a job well done. You raised them up in the way to go. Trust God. God bless you both in this new journey.

You both are such an inspiration to me. Thank you for your honesty. My sister has a 41 year old who is still, ”nursing.” Well, that’s how I explain it. She will move out of her Parent’s house, move back, move out again and now she’s back. She’s such a baby. Anyway, this is Your channel; if you want to cook, go on field trips, plant petunias, that’s your business. If that offends someone, they have options; change the channel or have your own channel and do whatever it is that makes you happy. Again, thank you for your realness. Be safe. Until the next episode.😊

Hey Y’all, Sorry you’re not feeling up to par…pray you feel better soon. I personally did not find anything wrong with the title, there were a number of things that resonated with me, but divorce was not one of them. Women and men are wired differently, and that’s not to say they don’t love the children the same, but Mom just can’t/don’t let go that easily, no matter what age. My girls are always saying “but Ma I’m a grown woman. I raised them to be independent, but I still want to know what’s going on with them.😂 With regards to the Ministry, my Pastor always says that things must be done decently and in order, so you can’t just do ‘spur of the moment’. Again Y’all, I truly appreciated the video and as you said, this helped some of us in different ways, as we hope we helped you. Not to step on toes, but either you’re gonna watch, enjoy, make nice comments or watch and be negative. If it’s not for you, then don’t watch!! Love y’all and enjoy the videos. Continued blessings to you!!❤

To all us Moms, this chapter in our life does happen. But when we know deep in our heart we have raised our children to love God and family, and to appreciate every waking day, then that helps lift the burden of letting our bird (s) fly away on their own. I have a son only..he is preparing to leave our nest in a few short weeks. It’s been a blur, but he knows Mom and Dad are ready to proceed to this next chapter in their life as well. I was a late bloomer at Motherhood (age 35). I know God already had my life story planned, and because of that I am going to continue to keep the faith in all that follows from here on out. Thank y’all for being transparent. Thank you for sharing and for caring.

Hi Donna and Robert!! I just got home from work and put the you tube on and saw this title. I said oh my goodness, what is wrong with some people that they didnot completely enjoy your last video. Let me share with yall. I'm going through somethings rite now. I have a 25 year old son. Who is my only child. Who, is going into his adult life, and Im struggling with that too sweetie.I am a single mom. I have been waiting on GOD to bless me with my Husband and I was just saying to my mom the other day. I wish GOD would use someone to talk about these very topic you are talking about.I suffer in silence all the time. I talk to GOD though every day! But yes, its not easy to have so much you suffer with silently alone. So let me tell you both, these video's you have shared, have been a confirmation to me. It was a blessing to me. It was so wonderful for you too to share with everyone about your marriage and your beautiful family. I love ya'll truly. Please keep letting GOD use you in this way!!! I love all your video. Pastor you said a mouthful we as women we do suffer in silence, on so many different levels. Taking care of her babies are so important that we want to hold on to them forever. As so many women doesn’t work and can’t deal with empty nest. We as women have to have a support group behind us to deal with it. It took me two years to move on but I did and we had a date night and I thought I was a queen because it was about us

Thank you, it's been very uplifting to see your family interactions. I have 5 kids and one is Austic. I've been the mother that loosely held on and I have also been the bubble mom. I had 3 sons that I was a helicopter with, my 2 oldest are out with their own family my 3rd is Austic. Then 11 years later I had another son then a daughter and they were wrapped in bubble wrap. I see the difference in the 2 sets. Dude #1 was right, you have to give them a balance. My daughter is a freshman in college and my baby boy has been working steady since he graduated. It's hard to let go and let grow, but I'm giving it my best. I thank you for addressing this. It's hard to do for myself you always want to make sure your kids have what they need and sometimes we fall by the waste side when it comes to doing for ourselves, my daughter is always telling me "mom stop buying for us buy you something" 😆 my kids be dressed and then you look at me and it's like I'm one step up from looking homeless. Lol😂 ok It's harder on us because we have that emotional bond from the womb and when their born it's elevated 1000% and it keeps growing from there. I think we're protective of them because we had to be. It was up to us to protect them when we were pregnant and when they got here everything was elevated. I'm going to stop now, I love you two and wish you many blessings.

Our empty nest could use a little spice and change from time to time. ❤

I love your family soooo much and I thank you for recording and I enjoy it all. I am so sorry to see you going through things that people don’t understand and then comment wrongly. You are great parents and I pray God will lead you in the effort to continue loving one another and loosing the rope from the kids and all else that needs to be let go properly and enjoy your freedom. You two never had freedom but as God is with you, you have it now. Great job!

I just had to comment on this one, y’all! U (In general) can never please all of the people all of the time. And ur always gonna have the social media trolls. I enjoy ur videos, even the lengthy ones. So many people experience tribulations that they keep to themselves, but it’s a good thing that ur doing, allowing us to see that we all go thru challenges in life. Being a mother is my greatest accomplishment, and both my girls are great mothers. I gave them the foundation to build from, and made it known that I’m here for them as long as I’m here. 🙏🏽❤️

I have quite some time before my little ones are headed out the door. But these two videos have been so encouraging in other areas of my life and marriage. The amount of gratefulness I have for the Minors is more words can say. Even without physically meeting you guys I know finding your channel was divine intervention.

I retired, and now my husband and I RV. Last year we went across the country. But, we try to go away at least once a month. We let our pastor know. It still is hard though, with the children even though they are grown. Be like the lady in the alabaster box. I love that song.

Blessings to you both, loved the video it came up on my TV right before going to bed close to 12am. and I just had to watch, your last video catch me at the very same time as well, and how convienent when you wanna go to sleep, but you wanna be kept in the loop also 😅 so I had to watch, and with all that you both shared you both are working together, and that's a wonderful space to be in, you both have valid points, and when you listen to each other, and truly hear one anothers heart it will all come together in time at the end of the day there's nothing like a mothers heart for her children. It's great to have other things to share as we all can see here, because you received so many comments which you typically do, but this topic tipped the scales. I know I'm not a regular in the comments, but I have been a follower of your channel for years, continue to be strong, because God understands more than any other. Before I leave off I must say..... "you're rocking the scraf!!" I love it that was the first thing I notice when the video came on, the colors go well with your skin tone, and I think it looks very nice, feel better soon! ☺☺🙏🏽🙏🏽💛💛

I hope you feel better, Mrs. Donna. Do not change what you all are doing. I love the different perspectives you both bring, especially Dude #1. You both compliment one another. Don't worry about the naysayers. People will always have negative things to say. Your channel will continue to grow because of the beacon of light that radiates through you both. I pray God consoles, you, Mrs. Donna, and allow you to grieve but not remain in a state of grievance. God bless you all, and may you both continue prospering in all you do. Get you some rest.

I was like, “oh no”! I hope I didn’t offend them by what I said on the last video when I started watching this video. Donna, I agree, spontaneity is important, but sometimes you’ll also have to plan things from time to time since you both are pivotal in the ministry. All in all do what works for y’all as long as it makes you even closer. It took me some time and tears to get where I am now with my adult children. We talk weekly and my husband and I are planning a trip to see our daughter and son in law and our grandbabies. And you’re right, it does feel good to know that so many others are dealing with the same thing. I love y’all and enjoy your channel so much 😊

Pastor and Lady Minor, I thank you for posting your videos of “life”! I don’t understand how anyone could come to conclusions on what the title was and watching the video. You guys are human, just like anyone of us! Only because your husband is a pastor does not mean that you are not going through the ups and downs of life. I am married to an Elder/ assistant pastor and there are times that even though I know what it all in tails to being in ministry, I feel neglected to an extend and shut out, even though I am not. I have two girls, 22 and 18, and it was hard for me to send them off to college and life after college. I wanted to protect my babies. Pastor Minor, truer words have never been spoken about men think different from women and I thank you for breaking it down and reminding us. I love all of your videos but very seldom comment, I do hit the like button every time though. 😊 To those that have negative things to say, they should have their own channel and not try to force their opinion on you guys! Stay true to yourselves and do what you do! Blessings, Sabrina

Pastor Rob and Lady Donna, I have to say that you are so refreshing and I Love your channel! In the days of social media where there are many people who are "putting on airs" as we used to say back in the day, you both are very real and pure in what you do. I personally enjoy seeing the different aspects of what the Minor Family is doing. You also can see the Love of God on you all and I appreciate that the most. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your family. I Love you all! Stay true to you! 💖💖
