Followers of Judaism and number of synagogues rise in Nigeria

Judaism is finding its voice in Nigeria. According to the country's Inter-Religious Council, the number of synagogues across Nigeria has risen over the past two decades. As Sophia Adengo reports, the religion is still very much a minority in the country, where 60-percent of the nearly 180-million people are Muslim.

Yes. A Jew is a Jew no matter where they are from. There may be slight differences in terms of culture, tradition, and pronunciation of Hebrew, but other than that they are the same.

It would be great if I were able to be in DIRECT contact with those people. Their hearts seem to be in the right place, but it's obvious (to me) that they're merely copying what they see rather than learning what it is THEY are supposed to do and how.

Had a dream about 7 yrs ago; I was speaking a language I NEVER spoke before but it was guttural sounding; like the back of ones throat. Now 3 years later, I'm working at a Jewish Facility and I'm OFF Shabbat. (I didn't ask; that was the schedule given) Just did a DNA testing and found I'm 31% Nigerian/28% Cameroon (which is most black people but...) Something going on.....maybe I'm Jewish.

Jewish Identity is defined by Jewish Law and administered and certified by a Rabbinical Court. You are not an American Citizen by behaving like an American, but by American Law administered and certified by the American Legal System. Same thing for Jewish identity and the Right of Return associated with it.
