There are Western Sephardic and Eastern Sephardic Jews.Bayezid the 2nd of the Ottoman empire sent ships to Spain and brought Sephardic Jews to his empire. . My wife is sephardic her grandparents and other relatives were from Kastoria,Greece. During WW 2 the Sephardic suffered the same fate as their brothers the Ashkenazi Jews.
