Grubby the other bar under a unit health is their special attack cooldown once it's full they can do their special attack like how arkantos(the main character/hero) does his warcry boosting your units attack for few seconds

i love that in this game, building nearby building buildings is same for villagers as gathering nearby ressource type

Unit countering is really… mandatory in this game. You’re pretty much required to bring the units that counter what your opponent is building (and not what they counter) or you lose even with 2-3x the units. Also, as a quick heuristic, myth units beat mortal units, heroes beat myth units, and mortal units beat heroes. Except Arkantos, he’s the main character and he knows it.

The drop-other-resources-thing is indeed in Aoe2 but it was patched in way later I think with the new editions, therefore missing in AoeM... although the version of AoeM played here is also a new Re-release, so you would expect it to also be added.

This was the game of my childhood and got me really deep into greek Mythology. Probably the best campaign of the whole AoE franchise, it definitely deserves a remake as good as the AoE2 definitive edition

watching Grubby blast through the missions on hard when, as a young lad, I played on normal and took twice as long and roleplayed the characters and scenarios is a strange feeling.

When you play other civs and discover that they all gain favor by doing different things will be cool. I know I just gave you a spoiler, but I won't tell you how they gain favor. By the way, this was my absolute favorite game growing up, I feel so nostalgic right now I might start playing again. I loved playing the norse, especially Thor, you should try them sometime.

turns out, you really want to place that lure out in open space away from the town, where oyu can see there are animals already... it will concentrate them. Near your town center you will have scared them all away.

watching the vods of the stream i am noticing u dont reallt look at the map. u should take more time to explore the map there are hidden relics or small paths to stuff in these campaign maps also in a whole very cool designed for the missions. And u will need to fix ur army controls if u wanna beat titan of this campaign for sure XD its pretty hard sometimes but really rewarding cuz u have to really make most of what u have in the mission. Keep up the campaign its amazingly done!

Grubby, just FYI do NOT, under any circumstances get the China DLC. It was so mismanaged and bad it would make Reforged look competent by comparison. You can see the details on its steam page and there are a bunch of articles and youtube videos about how functionally broken and bad the DLC is.

Its painful to watch a pro RTS player like you struggle so hard on the easiest mechanics just because you refuse to read or play a tutorial. If you figured everything out, Ill continue watching but this not enjoyable imo

Please, for the love of gods, stop obsessing over the keys and just pay attention to what chat tells you, they will guide you. Please play the whole campaign, you'll love it.
