Sometime I wish I never saw Your Lie in April. But it's something I don't regret.

My Partner love this anime, We used to talk about it. Right now we can't cause she died cause of her lungs stopped functioning. And now everytime I listen to this masterpiece tears will come down as I remember every memory that we made. I really want to see and hug her one last time.

This anime teaches so many life lessons… 1) like kaori, be grateful for the simple things that we easily take for granted 2) fear can rule our lives if we’re not careful. Embracing it can help us move forward 3) mortality…our fragility but also our strength as humans 4) grief 5) we always have an impact on people around us I can’t think of more off the top of my head lol

I’m part of a church music ministry. I was going to give up on the piano last year cause someone said I wasn’t getting good. I saw this anime and my perspective changed so much, how blessed I was to even know how to play, these talents we have are gifts and it will be a shame if I just hid it. I started learning by my own harder then ever and now I play with such enthusiasm to make myself feel relived and happy that I know what it is to be a musician. Now when I play on services I see myself enjoying every second of it.

I fell in love with that anime but I simply can’t bring my self to watch it again. Single most emotional anime I have ever watched.

As somebody who has never taken a piano lesson in his life, I didn't really know where to start without them. I was scared. I would watch your videos and imagine I was playing them in front of thousands of people. Then, I came across this video in particular and it spoke to me. I put in the effort to learn this, and got over the initial terror that kept me from doing what I now love. Although it is not prefect, I have learned a great deal about myself that would have been left unknown without it. I began because of you. Thank you, from the same guy who struggled over 2 years ago, thank you.

when you think about it, you see that Takeshi and other people started playing piano because of Kousei. They wanted to be like him, to be better than him. And Kaori learned violin to play with Kousei. As an equal. And that was really true love.

I can never play this without crying. My dog used to sleep next to me whenever I was playing piano, and I lost him to cancer. I really hope it reaches him, too.

Real talk now. Everytime I hear this medley I'm a confused mess. I'm caught between joy and sadness. I can hardly bear to listen one more time and yet I know, I will. And I don't just let it happen I embrace it. I always knew that music could leave me in a vulnerable state, but this Anime took it to a whole other level.

Indecisive. Gullible. Twit. The first time I ever saw you perform, I was 5 years old. It was at a recital for the piano school I was going to. This awkward, clumsy kid came onto the stage and accidentally hit the piano stool with his butt. It was too funny. He turned to the piano that was way too big for him and the moment he played that first note, I was drawn in. The sound was beautiful, like a 24-colour palette. The melodies danced. The girl next to me started crying. I wasn’t expecting that at all. And even so, you gave up the piano. Even though it totally changed other people’s lives. You’re the worst. Indecisive. Gullible. Twit. (Cut to Kaori as a kid, telling her parents she’s giving up piano for violin because she wants Kousei to play again.) When I found out we were in the same middle school, I was ecstatic. I used to love this girl and I'd tell her all the time. Sometimes we'd take long walks around our town late at night, barely worried about what our parents thought because we were together. Then one day she changed herself, her name, her personality, she was like a different person. It went on like that for a year or so and progressively I was losing track of who she really was, everybody told me the whole thing was just a waste of my time but I didn't listen because I'd never found anything like her before. I still remember that girl and I don't think I'll ever forget her, that's because I still love her. It's been years since then and honestly I still think about her all the time, the laughing and the crying, but after all that time I still remember one thing in particular about her. She never once said she loved me back, I always thought it was my fault but then I realized it was nobody's fault because something like that can't be helped. She said I'm more like a brother to her, sounds kinda familiar doesn't it?

I shed tears at the very first moment you started to play. The anime is so wonderful its still feel touching even when i have finish watching it a long time ago. Thank alot for bring back those emotions. This definitely had reached her.

There's something about this I find beautiful, I cannot claim this was an ordinary anime, I wouldn't dare to call it anime, it's more than that, more than what I can ordinarily comprehend - it's rather a masterpiece, an art piece of love and friendship, along with the affection of classical music - it's just beautiful

I just finished watching this show, I just watched the last episode 45 minutes ago. All I can say is "wow, what an experience." I love every bit of this show, the plot I was interested in throughout the whole series, the characters, the personal struggles of the characters, and the music, my goodness the music. I have a deeper respect for music and anyone who plays an instrument as well. The dedication and effort put into it is incredible, just like the dedication and effort put into this show, it too is incredible. I don't watch anime, I just got into the medium. This is the second show I have watched, and what a way to show me more of this beautiful and creative art. Also, great video!

No one in my family has ever died. I’ve never known one person in my life that has every died. I haven’t attended a funeral or watched a sad movie where the protagonist we all love dies. This was the first time my heart really sank. It was the first time that I truly realized death is permanent. Once a person is dead, they’re gone forever. And that realization scared me. Your Lie in April ,no, Anime, has helped me grow and mature as a person. It has taught me lessons that I would have never learnt otherwise. So thanks.

As a pianist i like how the difficulty scales linearly with each ost, at first it's chords in one hand and melody in other, then it becomes chords in both and arpeggios in the next piece. Perfect piece for a beginner to learn

I loved this anime so much. Probably one of the best I’ve ever seen. So much great plot and character development. I come back to this song often and it makes me reminisce of the times when I was little and had so much joy. It makes me think about life often and it really does make me realize that we only do have a short time on this earth and we should spend it doing the things we love and being with the people we love. Life can be hard and days can be rough sometimes, but we need to make the most out of the things we are fortunate to have because one day we won’t have them anymore. The only things we will have is the legacy we leave behind and the mark we leave on the world once we’re gone. This was such a beautiful story and I loved the meaning of everything. ‘Twas not her dead, but her letter that broke me. Let me say that Your Lie in April is one of, if not the best anime and manga that I’ll ever see. The feels hit me at just the right time. The song, as well. I’m sad that it will never be the same as the first time I watched it, but I’ll always appreciate it like it is. Thank you, Fonzi. It brought back some memories that I stored away.

I’ve rewatched this anime for about 6 years now and it still makes me cry uncontrollably, these songs hold such a special place in my heart that all it takes is for me to hear the first few seconds and It’ll struck one of my heart strings

Guys I’ve been practicing this and I have learned up to 4:28 Edit: I have learned up to 5:00 Edit 2: I have finished learning My Truth bois! Edit 3: I am now at 6:30! I’m in the endgame now. Edit 4: Good news. Even though there is no cover yet, I can play until the end after 6:30 slower than in the original. I am anticipating being done with everything within either a week or two with the fine tuning! i have two things. severe anxiety, and the inabililty to play the piano. i had done something stupid and true to my nature, my body started panicking with me. mid-way through a panic attack i frantically turned on my computer and searched for fonzi. this video came up and i clicked it hurrily. when the music started playing i closed my eyes and imagined there was a a piano infront of me. i let the music carry through me and started letting my hands push down the notes. im pretty sure i didnt get any of the notes correct but it felt as though i was playing the piano either way. suddenly all that mattered was that i had to hit the right keys and everything else disappeared. i think the way fonzi plays takes you to a place where time flows differently than in reality. thank you

The last 10 minutes of the anime hit hard when the voice actress read this script. Especially when she repeatedly said "I love you" and the fact that she wanted to be near him since they were five. It was a requited love forbidden by fate and that breaks my heart.
