Each week night, THE LATE LATE SHOW with JAMES CORDEN throws the ultimate late night after party with a mix of celebrity guests, edgy musical acts, games and sketches. Corden differentiates his show by offering viewers a peek behind-the-scenes into the green room, bringing all of his guests out at once and lending his musical and acting talents to various sketches. Additionally, bandleader Reggie Watts and the house band provide original, improvised music throughout the show. Since Corden took the reigns as host in March 2015, he has quickly become known for generating buzzworthy viral videos, such as Carpool Karaoke."

Once saw an interview where he said that it has always been his number 1 plan. Even back when he wasn't that good at playing drums, doing shit jobs for horrible bands, he felt going on stage that he was gonna slap the fuck out of those drums so people would notice him and think im definately going back to him again.

Taylor always visited drum shops all over the world when he was on the road, and would buy gear for whatever kids were in the store. He did this at the drum shop I was teaching at in Denver. I’m not talking about a pair of sticks. He’d drop a few grand on cymbal packs and snares. He never forgot where he came from. He was one of us. A drummer’s drummer. Miss him terribly.

Last Winter Dave came to the bar I bartend in Seattle, which is a very well-known 24hr dive bar and diner for metal heads, punks, and the like. I asked Dave if he would mind taking a group photo with my guys in the kitchen that are huge fans. Not only did he say yes, but he seemed genuinely stoked to. He was without a doubt the nicest celebrity/musician, and just person in general that I've ever met. He took the time to talk to everyone about life, fatherhood (he gave some warm and hilarious fatherly words of wisdom to my cook that was about to have his first child), music, and we all had a blast chatting. Such a lovely, talented guy.

I was at the show in Sweden. Left my dad at the back of the venue and made my way to the front of the stage. Remember feeling heartbroken when he fell - turned into the best night of my life. I’m glad he enjoyed it despite the accident. That moment is a once in a lifetime.

If he came by himself, he's just Dave Grohl. It would not be called "Foo Fighters Carpool Karaoke" without the rest of the Foo's. They're also singing songs from Foo Fighters' album. It means, every band member is required to be there.

I now watch this at least once a month and just watch Taylor his love of music that after over 20 years of playing every night anyone would have a right to say you know what man I don't want to hear this especially when not having to be on stage or in rehearsal and yet he's in a van with his brothers just loving the music he's not Taylor Hawkins one of the greatest drummers in history here he's teenage Taylor hanging out with his buds and just loving music that he just so happens to have helped create and make not a single but decades of masterpieces... Then in all that has been said about The character of the Man the guy who built a studio with those same brothers next to a Guitar Center and had a running tab and Credit Card on file with thousands of dollars in charges at any given time and not for him not a single piece but he'd go in every time he went to the studio walk to the percussion section and befriend anyone who was there and proceed to buy gear for them not just one time when he was there but they literally had a running tab on his dime for whatever they need without question... The Man was greater than the artist and there's a legitimate argument that could be had for him being the greatest of his generation and if not of all time... Not saying that he is but the fact that after all the drummers we've had that a case can even be made is absolutely fuckin amazing its a loss that will be felt not just for this generation and the last but forever and I'm sad that I never got to meet him and spend time with him and that beautiful powerful energy and spirit Thank you Taylor you were one of the best

It’s a weird feeling to see everyone commenting about Taylor. It’s cool to see how much we love him, but sad because we always say, “I love you” an hour and a day after it’s too late. But he was a legend and one of history’s best drummers (even if it’s only in my eyes). Even though I never met him, I’m gonna miss him.

I got to hang out with Taylor a few times. His cover band played at one of my bar and grill customers in Burbank. Taylor was kind, humble, happy and so cool. I helped him load and unload his drums and cymbals, we talked gear, kids, rock and roll dreams, and food. He even called me "Food Guy" and would holler from the stage "what's good to eat here food guy?" I will always remember just how cool, calm, and happy he was. He still inspires me to be the same.
