Buona serata, Adan and Fiorella! this is what I love about your channel! it's like the day in the life kind of vibe! I remember my month-long stay in Calabria, I was assolutamente sorpreso at the quality and prices of the cibo! I took 1500 euros with me and came back with 350 of it and yet I dined exquisitely every day! The biggest expenses were the rental car, tolls, and benzina! birre were only 1 ero, a tazza di Caffe un euro o meno, everything was fresh, fresh, fresh, and I couldn't get enough of the plates of seafood and pasta! I thoroughly enjoy your content, please keep up the great work that you both do :)

Hi Anthony, thanks so much! Yes car rentals are a massive drain, but what can one do? It gives us so much freedom to see things and do stuff in the spare of the moment! We agree, the quality is so good and dining out doesn't cost an arm and a leg 😀

Love your channel can't stop watching your videos.. This 2 part series really does help get the general idea on what things cost.. Do you think you can do a a video on money? I have no idea how much I would be giving when it comes to Euros and getting change. We Americans only know dollars and cents. LOL Thank you for sharing your journey with us all.. It does help for those of us who want to move to Italy.

An excellent breakdown on monthly expenses, obviously affected by being in a larger house, or having an expensive car, but the rest would be the same. I think my cost of living would go down, and quality of living would go up, which sounds pretty good to me. If you own your house outright, you could live quite well in a beautiful country with fantastic culture, food, wine and adventure close at hand.

Wow so glad you clarified the gas price from the previous video. I thought that was a hefty price for two people. It makes sense to use the gas tank if it's cheaper and lasts two months. You just have to make a trip to refill once in a while.

@@rossinniandco I am interested in how the gas situation plays out. We have gas service but it is not turned on. Maybe we will use a gas bottle instead for our stove.
@rossinniandco
@rossinniandco Жыл бұрын
@@NancysBungalowLife Hi Nancy, I would give a gas bottle a go if you can manage to get home and replace when finished. There are many fees associated on the gas bill to the point where those fees are higher than the cost of the gas usage itself, so if you're only using gas to cook, and not heating your home like we are, bottle might be the way to go!

Can you please show the "gas bottle" that you mentioned? I think you mean a butane gas tank. This is a great tip that I'll probably do as well! I'm also considering installing a solar system. Thank you again and hugs from Texas!

Why was there no gas? Does this happen frequently in Italy? Your gas is double the cost for the same amount, very expensive. Groceries are less - one panini $15.00 US and box of crackers would be $3.98 US and a bottle of cheap Lambruco $7.99, we have food tax in only 13 of our states.
@rossinniandco

Hi Judi, not sure if it happens often. I didn't know about the food tax in the US. Thanks for sharing 👍

Your prices for veggies seem inexpensive. But the tax blows it up. Your meat and cheese are expensive including traveling car gas. Yikes. Here from Portland Maine USA.
@rossinniandco

Hi Valerie. Some things are more expensive than in Australia. I think the biggest difference for many people is being able to pay cash for a house. That's impossible in OZ
