Goa --- এই word ta শুনলেই আর থাকতে পারি না, অনেক কিছু বলতে ইচ্ছে করে... I have been there at least 20 - 25 times ... প্রায় 2nd home হয়ে গেছে.... now about this episode : 1 . Joseph Bar and Viva Panjim -- both of them are in the Fontainhas area of Panjm which is full of brightly painted houses ... very instagramable, তাই shob সময়েই tourist দের photo sessions চলে.. এখানকার residents ra প্রত্যেক বছর নিজেদের বাড়ি paint করেন, without fail ...এটা একটা নিয়মের মতো ব্যাপার. Joseph Bar chhoto but has an iconic status... বাইরে রাস্তার ধারে একটা চেয়ার এ বসে অনেকটা সময় কাটানো যায়. 2. Viva Panjim খুব ভালো, but গরম কালে Vindaloo and Sorpotel খেলে literally ঘাম বেরিয়ে যায় 😂 ... Fish Ambotik othoba Chicken Cafreal অবশ্যই try করবেন. Serradurra অসাধারণ--- creamy pudding with mousse like texture and with biscuit crumbs on top .... আমার favourite. কাছাকাছি একটা very famous old bakery আছে... নাম Confetaria 31 De Janeiro, একবার সময় পেলে try করবেন. 3. Brittos অনেকই জানেন, বেশ ভালো --- but বেশ ভিড় all the time 😄... ওদের baked crab is good , also their sea food platter is worth trying. Calangute beach এর ওপর another iconic restaurant আছে Souza Lobo --- ওদের baked crab ও আমার খুব পছন্দ . 4. Arambol last গিয়েছি Jan23 তে, Cheeky Monkey r location tao জানি , but I never knew that it was run by a বাঙালি--- next time certainly!! Another Bengali who runs a European Fine dining restaurant in Calangute (near Jambaleshwar Temple ) is Soumen Chakraborty....restaurant এর নাম Chef Soumyens Kitchenn.... lip smacking food , but এটা off season , ekhon বন্ধ!!! 5. Pablos is great... Badem locality তে --- but একটু আগে যেতে হবে , parking পেয়ে যাবেন but seat পাওয়া মুশকিল. 😂 6. Darling's Bar যাওয়া হয় নি ---- Vagator এ Chapora Fort er pichhoner দিকে located ... তবে হবে কোনোদিন অবশ্যই. 7. St Regis কিন্তু একেবারে উল্টো দিকে--- Cavellosim এর কাছে South Goa তে.... it is not really on the sea front but is located on the river front ...beautiful Sal river... the resort is super !!! অনেকটা লিখে ফেললাম,...... এটা বোধহয় আবেগ ..... Goa is an emotion for me ...very close to my heart. Waiting for the next episode. 🙏👍

I have been to Goa many times and love it very much.The food drink and its people.BTW Urak and Feni are made from the cashew fruit…..Urak is the first distill with abt 7% alcohol,while Feni is the final brew with around 35% alcohol.Feni is also made from Palm juice,but not as popular.Goa is the only state to brew Cashew Feni.Cheers..

You are 100% correct. Tourism industry if properly developed & promoted can generate a very large number of jobs for youth & revenue for the state. I am employed in the airlines industry & posted in Toronto, Canada. Everyday I see our flights full of Canadian/American tourists bound for India but mostly to North/South/Western states. I never see anyone going to Bengal for vacation. This saddens me as I am from Kolkata originally. These tourists have money to splurge. I think the Bengal govt. must aggressively promote it's tourism potential as an industry.

@@abhijitguha494 My friend's daughter is now at England, studying regarding Tourism and her brother at Canada, most probably in City Bank. I am living in Mumbai and Maharashtra Tourism is one of the most prominent state for choice for tourist around the world. It is true that Bengal Tourism is in lagging behind due to lack of planing and promotion. Both the center state can plan jointly for this promising industry where very good chance for increasing Dollar Reserve.
