Mauro really outdid himself with this cake! He and the team baked a cake that looks exactly like a cuckoo clock - and it even has a bird that makes the famous cuckoo sound.

When I first moved to Germany (from Arkansas) and heard a Cuckoo bird in the wild for the first time.... I understood the enchantment and charm of the clocks. It is a beautiful sound from a humble looking bird.

cup cake version coco clock. bird hold hour glass. if turn cup cake up side down white sugar drip though hour glass. not sure make glasses edible with out make hard candy.

I wish people would shut up about rice crispy treats when they know nothing about cake decorating. They are used when the cake NEEDS more structure. Cake isn't hard so if you tried to make lets say table legs with cake, guess what? It would fall down.

mynxie min Well you obviously still get cake on it. There's rice crispy treats on the parts that need structure.
