Idk, I’ve read a pretty dark fic about the egg before, the thought of the entire world becoming infested and vines growing under the skin as it takes over every living thing around it is fucking terrifying if well written

I think it's similar to a shulk - death needs to be near to gain the energy. Ranboo wasn't near the egg or it's range, so it didn't use his death for energy.

The Egg has nothing to do with Tommy stop trying to blame every bad thing on him. The Egg is its own thing.

@@silvermoon5779 Yes the Egg is its own thing, as are other evil entities in our world, but that doesn't change that all bad things have been linked to Tommy in one way or another. L'Manburg is the biggest example thus far: a psudo-nation built from a drug van founded by Tommy, Wilbur, Quackity, and Fundy. Technoblade was used as a weapon to overthrow Schlatt, and instead of abolishing the government (like they should have), they put Tubbo is president in front of the most powerful Anarchist to date. They used Technoblade, and when he rebelled, he was made "Public Enemy #1" of L'Manburg because no one could control him anymore. Quackity also blames Technoblade for the TNT crater and not Wilbur for some reason, which has caused not only the ensured Annihilation of L'Manburg, but has given Dream access to the only man who can Dynasty Warrior on the server. Saying "stop blaming Tommy for everything" is a disingenuous thing to say due to the simple fact that Tommy, in the narrative, has been linked or responsible for every minor, major, and large scale server-wide conflict. And what I said was true about Quackity: he needs to realize who is the real blame for a of the hard shit he's gone through and get over his grudge with Technoblade.

Technoblade and everyone else agreed to overthrow schlatt because he was a corrupt leader, they did not agree to completely remove the government only to remove schlatt. It was just an issue of communication, both sides did not talk too much about what what going to happen after schlatt was dealt with, so how was everyone supposed to know what technoblade wanted? Also, most of the conflict is caused by techno and dream- yes tommy is not a good person but his crimes are small compared to the amount that others have done.

I have a feeling they bedgrudgingly tolerate each other because they know they can't defeat each other
