Okay, just another war again but when Tommy blew up the tunnel with tnt- Tommy's Wilba arc

I love this, we're finally getting lore and stuff, so people are more active, and now this stuff. Now, I don't know if the whole war for the prime path thing was planned lore, but it comes across as just this still thing that's happening while everything is starting to kick off again. When at the end of Wilbur's lore stream they go to Tommy's house and are genuinely like WTF?? about the obsidian it just reminded me of the beginnings of lore in the Dream SMP, were some things were planned but there was always just chaos that they didn't expect lolol I'm excited to see shenanigans as well as lore on the Dream SMP again

I think Skeppy’s trolling Bad all the time has now made Badboyhalo a troller too. Not only did he cover up Tommy’s house but also keeps building funny things on Foolish’s land.

For people who don't realize why this needed to happen in the first place. The path was being ignored; constant creeper explosions and neglect to fix it properly in some areas. Sure, the Old old path was functional; but as you could see with the roof of the Snowchester mansion, Ponk's spruce lemon tree and with the path even, an errant explosion or a rouge lightning bolt could've burned a lot of it! With bad's initial improvements there could've been easier travel, the path could be more easily repaired...and it encouraged Tommy to play again lol. Something the server desperately needs for more lore to be furthered and to just start up again is for more people to play to begun with, the logical fallacy that's been plaguing the SMP members of "oh well there isn't much actually happening on the server, i can't figure out anything i'd want to do, i should wait till something happens" is stupid because for something TO happen someone needs to be there TO MAKE IT HAPPEN. It's like being in a crowd of onlookers while something bad is happening and everyone saying "Oh; someone's bound to do something, someone else is bound to make the first move here right?" Egg lore is only starting back up BECAUSE of this fact; the hope is that the notion of 'Lore' even taking place to begin with is a hope to inspire more of the server members to just start something; ANYTHING, that they were planning on doing before they got Bystanders syndrome, they got nervous because they'd been doing other business for so long; or that they generally just got bored or whatever, that they feared messing anything up or coming back only to have what happened here with the path happen to them if they tried anything. What do i mean? "ARGGG! DON'T INNOVATE, DON'T CHANGE ANYTHING! ARRRGGGARAWR! WE HATE CHANGE! NO CHANGE." Holding onto Nostalgia is the problem here, with the server being alive and well for as long as it has been of course that's going to happen, but even so if you don't allow for change; for conflict? YOU'RE KILLING THE SERVER, YOU'RE KILLING LORE. Not the CC's (Though they fundamentally get the right to choose what they do with THEIR server; shouldn't have the fans dictate that fact.) Pressure to do right by the audience will be what dooms the server ultimately if this status quo is kept.

I'm kind of on both sides for this. Bbh's path looked so good, but the old prime path has a lot of memories. Also, bbh covering Tommy's house was so funny XD I think I'm leaning towards Bad's side, but honestly I'm just going to enjoy which ever side is causing more chaos in the moment LOL

I personally like Bads path more because to me it symbolizes the new Era of the smp, people getting over the past and moving onto new lore and renovation. (People in the comments actually be hating on Bad for this like it a block game-)

Honestly I was thinking about the Theseus Ship problem. Only this is obviously not the original Prime Path. This is a New Prime Path. The original had wood, this is like replacing every plank of Theseus’s ship with Steel. Now what might’ve been a good solution would’ve been to temporarily dig up the path and put the obsidian and nether wart brick underneath incase something happens the path beneath is there as backup.
