Inspirational. One of the commentators in the 86 FA cup final made an observation during the match (after Rush's equaliser I think) that at the time "Liverpool have never lost a match in which Ian Rush has scored". And while he netted some gloriously spectacular long range and first time volleys, the third goal in that final sums it up for me : supernatural speed and ability to be in the right place at exactly the right time and the skill to take advantage of it - he was involved in starting the counter inside his own half, yet somehow outran everyone to be placed to receive the final cross, then calmly, decisively and precisely rifling it home.

Its baffling to me how someone would support Everton? You normally pick your team about 6/8 years old so you don't choose it on location or loyalty just the team that stands out to you so i can't understand anyone choosing Everton? The only reason must ne family fircing them to support them? Always makes me laugh when people say why dyer support that team you dont even live there and im like "i was 6 i didn't even really know where i fing lived" also if people want to be strict about it even people from Everton have closer teams to support
@vaseofflowers46196 ай бұрын
My dad supports Everton. Mercifully...he and my Liverpool supporting mum divorced when I was aged just six and this potentially spared me the ignominy of being an Evertonian. My stepdad went to Rome 1977, Wembley 1978, and Paris 1981 to see Liverpool win their first three European Cups. But I never want to see Everton relegated because of my dad. He lives in the flat above mine and he lets me watch all the Liverpool matches that are live on Sky Sports in his flat. He gets annoyed when I eff and blind during matches and puts up with a fair amount of profanity from me when Liverpool are on the telly live.
