Who needs the gridiron when you've got the ocean as your playing field? This documentary chronicles four months of gnarly surfing on Oahu's North Shore with some of the island's top wave-riding talent. A righteous soundtrack form Queens of the Stone Age, Black Sabbath, Bad Brains, Ween, Digital Unicorn and more provides the perfect backdrop for the eye-catching cinematography featured in this film.

Nostalgia level maxxed out here! Bananas and Blow by Ween!!!! Strider was the man - then & now! The only WSL talking head i can get behind.... He needs his own surf show/surf vlog/hbo series...🤔.....not totally impossible. I'd guess he could give a better first-hand account of life on North Shore from this era. I wasn't even paying attention to the surf world at this time...skated a lot.. around ventura, carpinteria, la conchita, and smoked tons of weed and ate buddys moms chicken quesadillas.
