Moving Kimmich from RB position to CDM, was probably the best decision a bayern coach made in a long time. With Pavard they have found a player who feels even more comfortable in the right-back position and is just as efficient as kimmich.

you just talk about tactics but there is an other very important point. he takes responsability in the team on the field and byside the field. he hates losing and do every thing to win. he's able to push his teammates he takes the lead on the field an he's able to speak about that what is going wrong on the field after the game. h's a natural leader who makes his teammates better

In current Bayern squad several players have proven to be world class in several positions including Alaba, Kimmich, Hernandez, Martinez, Davis, Muller. Ramos has been the best Right back and the best center back in the world when used there. Havertz is showing similar ability in midfield and attacking roles, Azpilicueta has proven to be really flexible in different roles, Milner too, I like Zinchenko's game too, whether playing midfield or left-back he has a positive presence in different areas of the pitch although his stats might not be the most impressive ones.

Messi, Thiago, Muller, Davies, Alaba, Pavard, Neuer (arguably), Tolisso (relatively unknown to most people that he used to play RB in his youth), Gnabry, and sooooo many more. The days of one-position players are gone, barring a chunk of goalkeepers, centre-backs and out and out strikers.

Alaba is also a superbly versatile player. He probably was one of the best left backs in the world along with Marcelo and Jordi Alba. He can play very well in the midfield just like Kimmich, and now he has made the center back position his own

Kimmich and Goretzka are a way better duo than Kimmich and Thiago. In the last third of the season and especially in the important games Bayern played without Thiago in the starting eleven. That's why Bayern will most probably sell Thiago because he is not as important as many think. Also saying his tackling is not very good is a brave statement. He is in the Top 10 of Defending Players in the Bundesliga when it comes to won tackles and only commited 25 fouls through the entire season. Still there are a lot of good points you mentioned in the video so thumbs up ;)
