For those who aren't musicians and for those who are but haven't done studio work...what you see here in 3 min 55 sec is made to look easy with smiles and such but it is NOT. This is the culmination of so much work on everyone's part. Everything being so tight and the high levels of musical synergy is really really rare. Great job everyone on SIL.

Very true. I've played live many times and yes, the concentration and energy required are considerable, because you only get one shot at doing it right! It's the same for the Sing It crew, getting it done in a single continuous take.

@@cactuscanuck6802I think this is a mixture of live and studio production. Doing many takes and working on the best one. The work that the keyboard player does later is phenomenal. I'm not diminishing the work of the musicians and singers in any way, all of them do great, I am just saying that a very important part of the great work we see is due to this guy

As a musician I’m always astonished by Darren and his mates, but THIS one is almost unbelievable. Everything works as a precision clock, everyone involved is probably of the finest in the world. Kudos to the bass man, he did an AWSOME job. Speechless….

Can't get any better than this version of Footloose. The mix is incredible and what a tremendous bass part by Damien. This sounds right on. A couple of things here... Damien, you are always money. Right in the groove. I don't think you ever rush a note and your feel is perfect. Love it man. Shaun, your performance here is as good as it gets. Perfect pitch and feel. Kenny is not easy to sing and you nailed it. Darren, you can do it all man. Amazing stuff!

Nailed it. The ten second build at 2:40 followed by Shaun's home run at the climax really brought a goofy smile to my face. Perfection. Spectacular bass work as well, glad that cameraman thought to take a few shots of those dancing fingers.
