It's our fallen soldiers flight home and when it says on the Angel flight your never alone it's because until that fallen soldier is taken off that flight and given back to their family on US ground there is always another soldier with that casket.

I have a close friend who’s in the USAF and a flight tech on a C130 and has been on a “angel flight” bringing home a few fallen Green Berets home and said it’s one of the most honorable and saddest and proudest experiences he’s ever had in his career. He said it’s an honor to be chosen to fly home fallen heroes. My cousin also made the flight home from Afghanistan but he was the one in the flag draped box. He was a army ranger who died in Afghanistan years ago and he died doing what he loved, serving his country.

My brother passed away 2 weeks ago .HE worked and flew on a c130 during the vietnam war.He was on several Angel flights. He requested Angel flight be played at his funeral.I listen to this beautiful song ever morning. Thank you for doing this song.A Tennessee Girl

It is coincidental and ironically poetic that defensive flare salvo from a C-130 can resemble an angle's wings. The C-130 Hercules aircraft is featured in this video because it is most often the first aircraft that fallen soldiers fly on from the battlefield back to a US base. It is a sobering honor to be involved with this mission.

The ones in our military are the special chosen ones since they heard the call to protect you and me and those we love. Believe me when I say it does my heart amazingly well to know those of our fallen brothers and sisters get even better respect and love as they are taking their final trip home! The day I first heard this song, I cried. It isn't easy for me to cry but I cried for several minutes straight and throughout the day my eyes never dried out. Peace to you brother.....

The Angel flight is the flight of the ones that died defending us here. The flight is the flight home . A sad important flight. And they wonder why we are angry with the fools that spit on our flag, our life style , our God and our families. I have no time for the ones that don't appreciate the sacrifices made.

Those are real flares for anti missile lock and on the Angel flight, the Air Force put these just to look like an Angel for the purpose of the flight.
