Man, thank you for your life! It's a life full. Thank you for the courage, the hope, the tears. All the let downs, only inspired by aspirations. Something greater resides in us. The more you exist on that level... Life! Few people live there in their heart, which comes the struggle of life... When you DO what you guys did, you bring the viewer into a world filled with hope, purpose, excitment, challenge, intrigue, winning! This is the great adventure of life! Sadly, we stay in that world. We get chances here and there to touch the "real", but few follow through. I appreciate your work here, and I thank you! for living that world. So cool you found photography! One as yourself, will always appreciate the details of a very complex universe we live in. Great job on this project. Great job at life! david

Thanks! And while we're at it, let's also thank posthumously Major Harold William "Bill" Tilman, CBE, DSO, MC and Bar, (14 February 1898 - 1977), who opened Patagonia in the 1950s, as he did the Himalaya in the 1930s. And Greenland in the 1960s. (He was, perhaps, primarily a sailor. Bristol Channel pilot cutters were his van, as it were. Some biographers also neglect his African bicycle adventure.)

What a fantastic look at Patagonia from a unique perspective. We, as a global community can only hope that this ecosystem can continue to say relatively "untouched" for sometime to come. I know Yvon Chouinard and Doug Tompkins will fight to keep it that way.

Many many places around the world have been destroyed by the massive media exposure!

Blake McLemore Oddly enough most of what this was shot on were pretty simple point and shoots and the canon markIII and go pros. Taking super nice cameras into this landscape was a strategy that has ruined quite a few productions, so we scaled back and let the climbers do the work with small, light cameras. It's not the camera is the capacity to pull it out when you absolutely don't want to.

Geo T do you think smokestacks and oil refineries are beautiful? why are you so dedicated to being bitter about windmills? its just bizarre.... (look at his channel, its all anti- wind energy) btw i live by turbines. doesn't ruin farmland, doesnt ruin quality of life. you have to *try* to be bothered by them. they're quieter than the highways, quieter than construction, quieter than infrastructure maintenance (replacing utilities under roadways or re surfacing the road itself)
