I used to get 6,000 rpm’s out of a 65 200 with nothing more than hooker headers, a solid lift cam and resetting the stock one barrel carb. And that’s thousands of times in a twelve year period. I never had to adjust the valves either.

You need to relocate the cone filter where it will get cooler air. Run tubing from the carb hat to the frame area below the battery.

I put a 264/274 cam along with a DUI distributor and a weber 2v carb and i cannot get a burnout in my Falcon 200 six

Great video! Know anybody looking to get rid of a 200 head? Machinist found a crack in a valve seat. I'm also based in SoCal.
