I built Automatic Transmissions over 30 yrs I last done 2010 Ford Chrysler&GM Overdrives mostly RWD....But done several Front wheel drive units,I lived in a very rural area never had much call for Foreign units so only done a few for good customers. They are temperamental and EXPENSIVE.I ruined my back before I had enough sense to buy an electric hoist,I have 2 spinal fusions.NOTE TO BUILDERS...If you build GET A LIFT!!. I suffer a lot! EVERY NIGHT EVERY DAY!.. This is a HARD Profession!. There are over 2000 parts in some overdrives even simple ones have HUNDREDS OF PARTS!.We have to know where they go!.. The last guy may not have known the right way😁. As I said a HARD way to earn a living!.This man& others deserve a lot of credit Transmissions take YEARS to learn,Not everyone can learn!.

looks like his first one he looks confused.3 bolts for filter and 3 for main control,then 3 torx for feed tubes and pull as a unit no need to pull vb bolts while main control is still bolted to case just sayin I do a lot of these.i was confused on my first one also.

Was this particular 6r140 off a truck with the 6.2 liter gas V-8 or was it behind the 6.7 Powerstroke diesel?

Aren't the through bolts in the valve body clearly marked? That exploration of the valve body bolts should be unnecessary.
