427 is a awesome engine, definitely want to build one for turbo Mustang one day!

That would be amazing. Would love to see that build!

@@FollowTheBuilds idk if you are still working on it or not but the best mod to both the 5.0 and 5.8 is sticking a 460/4.9 air intake snorkel on it over the factory intake. Instead of coming up and to that little spot under the hood it goes right beside the radiator to the front, right behind the grill, and grabs all that cold highway air. I did mine and just that one change has definitely helped it. My 5.8 is completely stock outside of that though but I think it will still help a ton getting some more air in that beast

@@swankscabinet1625 Air intake...did that to mine many years ago..... Ford Part No. F2TZ-9A675-A $16.44 in 9-16-2008

@@mark751999 yessir. It’s gotten a tiny bit more expensive when I did mine but completely worth the $30 plus shipping

What 427 kit is this? Shortblock? I see CHP makes a couple. What compression ratio are you at? Is there anything you wish you would have done (heads/cam/different intake)? Do you have a Dyno? Dynos are pretty cheap just to have your power measured.

How is going. Awesome build! Do you have the part # for the 30lbs injectors?

I have an 82 bronco that I am rebuilding. Would the 427 and all the accessories from the 351 build work for it? I also want to keep it a manual transmission

This is awesome. Great Job. I have a 96 Eddie Bauer Bronco with a 113k on it. It’s a good runner now but if it dies I would definitely consider this type of upgrade.

What all did you have to do to get the 427 to work with the ecu tranny etc?.
@brianbirc2 жыл бұрын
I know a 427 is nice but think It would cost moreI was informed by a master Ford builder it would need a Dart block for it to last etc.. ahe recomended a 351 a full roller with MAF AFR heads freshex aust internally ballenced built for torque and to last. and ability to pass smog using smog gear and fresh cats on exaust it will burn cleaner than stock just need parts that are legal with the sticker. A 408 build would be best for what I wanted, Still EFI but MAF full roller that can inject to each cylinder With doing a lot of work to it like long travel on Kings gusset abd plating the TTB shock towers cycleing and clearing. forthe F250 slipshaft azle axle to clear the plating with gusset work. Rebuilt my transfer c aase with freh planitaryadand Gears and lockers lockers. for bigger tires. Glass fenders and bedsides to clear uptravel. Changed the front body style to the 96 with core support lights (upgraded to HID) plus Glass hood and spindles the calapers bolt to . so got good brakes from a performance brake maker. Ambulance steering parts and Hi amp alt. for lights,winch and stereo amps. dtiveshafts, Plus Dist wiresair intakeinjectors flywheel etc,, Having to do all the vacume lines the installer charged mr to do. AC compressor and other parts forR22freon. Still want to get good GPS and Hydro bump stops. I need to go talk to Bret for that ! The shocks he built or sold to me kind of both give me Permagriin still every time I hit the whoops or am surprised with some air and land so smooth I would not spill a drink! Bronco prerunner wih 4x4 and long theel travel is Great. A old school SUV that is rebuilt makes me think of the 6 million dollaR Man show. Not 6 milion into the build but lotd of blood sweat and looking for good information for eork to do and parts and best specialised builder for engine and transmission and gears.PLUS a great Wess to hrlp and make strong weilds and more. Guys with info for repair and upgrades on FSB and RDC + Fast on wheels in Santee YT chanel with white Bronco build for recomendation of zzGreg the mschinist builder of Ford master
