Very nice car, in the U S they were sold as Mercury Capris, they were fairly popular here as well.

The Capri's design with the long bonnet and the short tail is really amazing. The car was such an success. Sadly only for three generations. All two years there's usually a big Capri meeting in Speyer I visited for two times. But last year I was accidently at the wrong day - on Sunday they're leaving until the noon. The Mark 2 was looking a bit too nice. The Mark 3 is my choice with its dual headlamps. But the Mark 1 is also a very good looking.

I had 7 of them !! lol.. amongst them I had a Mk1 1,6 GTXLR, and a 2,0 GT V4 and a 3,1 'LuMo' V6 (which went like a rocket !) ..I wish I still had them all.. worth a fortune now !! There was a South African Mk1 V8 Capri too bro !!
