Ford F-350 Crashes 450' Down Freeway Hillside! Is Alex a machine or what? Not one, but two companies turned this job down and I can't say I blame them too much. These car fishing jobs get passed up quite often when it's super hot, on top of a lot of companies in the area not having the equipment to retrieve vehicles several hundreds of feet. In the old days (aka when I started lol) you would need wire rope extensions which are HEAVY along with chain.
Now, we have synthetic extensions from Bailey's Tow Accessories. You'll see how effortlessly Alex is able to use this and rig even in blistering heat. Once at the vehicle, BA Vehicle straps are attached and up she comes! Alex in Big Flipper, our 75ton rotator, turned a "difficult" job that others passed up into an easy one, all 100% solo.
It helps that this happened to be next to a service road which made hiking all 450' up and down pretty easy compared to the mountainsides we are used to. What did you guys think of Alex's solo car fishing job? And if you're a fan and would like more, become a member! I post all my deleted videos here and other perks: / @pepestowingservice
I also made a brand new merch website with my own designed custom shirts and apparel here:

Someone who knew the wreck was there, and did not have keys to the cabinets, brought a crew during the night (lots of work lugging all the tools and parts up the grade.) If it was the business owner, they forgot the keys, keys were at the hospital with driver, brought keys for the wrong truck, or wanted it to look like a burglary. Or some pros were tipped off - they listen to emergency scanner, have a brother-in-law in EMS, etc.

At almost-the-end of a long, hot, strenuous workout it would be easy to rush and forget a step. Doing the narration might help reinforce safety routines. @45KevinR
@45KevinR Ай бұрын
I've thought that before on pulls like this. Though often the terrain would defy even an atv on tracks! I think the worst part is having to manually pull out all the cable. Especially in heat like this maybe they could run a very light line down to a pulley and up and use that to winch the main cable and kit down, a bit like how ships' lines are handled.
@dom6512
@dom6512 Ай бұрын
@@45KevinR Or just man up and pull the damn line down. It's hard work, that's all. It seems that's a foreign concept to some people. It was a mostly paved road at up to a 40 degree slope.. no tracks would be needed, but neither was an ATV, just some muscle.

Too many people try to find long drawn out solutions to get work done with as little effort as possible. Guys like Alex man up and just get the job done, the way work was once done and still is with a few who still get it. Carting an ATV around doesn't sound like a realistic idea anyway.
