65 year old female DIY'er says: I watched this video, bought the bulbs, and did the job! I was able to unscrew the bulb holders with my fingers, so didn't have to unplug all those plugs. One difference I found from the video was the 4 screws on my assembly were hex nuts, so I used a little socket wrench. Even the guy at the auto parts store couldn't tell me anything about a light behind the heater control knobs. Beautiful outcome, thanks Zorro!

Both of my bulbs were out on my 02 F150 and I didn't want to break any of the plastic. Seeing your video gave me the confidence to tackle the job and all went smoothly. Thanks for posting this.

Thank you Sir. Just finished replacing these bulbs a few minutes ago; it took less than five minutes. I didn't disconnect the wire harnesses, I was able to use one finger on top and one finger on the under-side to twist the bulb holders out. For those yet to come, sit in the passenger seat and twist towards the door for removal and half a turn towards the steering wheel for installation. Very Happy ZorroATX - thanks again.

Thank you! Worked for my early 97 OBS. Minor differences - just had to remove the dash trim and a couple of screws holding the bezel around the panel, then the bezel pops out. Remove the 4 holding the unit in and 2 bulbs attached to the back. Be gentle with the old plastic!

Thanks! Please re-publish this with a new title: Replacing the A/C & Heater Control Panel. I actually had bad knobs. The knobs fail and spin on the panel, making you think the unit is faulty. I replaced the panel anyway. It turns out, my blending unit (the center control) had failed. This part easily is replaced in that panel. But, for folks to find this video. you may want to publish it with a different title. Anyway, very helpful & thanks!

I found the easy way to get the first main cover off is to turn the two air flow vents to the inside and then I could just grab the cover with my fingers and pull it off

I replaced the bulbs and it still does not work. Is there a separate fuse for this? If so where is it located?. I checked all the fuses under the hood and they're all good. Thank you.

I have a 2004 Ford Expedition and a few of the lights are dimmed. I'd like to replace them but i think they started using LEDs by then - I know the power window switches do, at least, since I had to go inside them and clean them out. How would I replace the lights?

Your video shows the unit with the knobs removed. I need to remove the hot/cold knob to check if it is turning shaft that controls the blend door actuator. Can you share how you get the knobs off?

Thanks. Found no written reference of how get to these bulbs. There is even no reference to what size and type of bulb. This way I wlll have the bulbs ready before I take it apart. Suggestion for next video - How to get the wife or girlfriend to do this while we drink beer and watch football.

It SHOULD read 97-03 f150. You meant to say TORX bit/head. Mount your camera. Use proper sentences and English such as LOOSEN or TIGHTEN!
