Ford Fiesta Boot Inspection. Have I Bought a Solid Car? Is it full of RUST? Plus Fitting New Replica Plates. Ex Wheeler Dealers Car.
In this video its time to investigate my Ford Fiesta Mk2 a little closer. In particular the boot. Is it solid or just full of rust?

Satisfyng work, Paul. Not just me, daft enough to polish the boot floor 😂. The long lost days of having actual colour coat, rather than undercoat in unseen places. Hopefully my Polo meets your fiesta some day, for cool period pictures

Very satisfying. Although a lot of that might have been relief 😂 Yes when you open the bonnet of a modern car like Fran’s Peugeot 108, it has absolutely nothing to polish. No colour coat. Very happy for your Polo to meet the Fiesta.

Certainly very clean boot, I can honestly say I have never ever polished a boot yet 😂 Look at the space below the shelf thing too.

I need to be sponsored by Autoglym 😂 I have always polished bonnet, door and boot shuts but never the boot floor before. Yes, Ford could have advertised their ‘50%’ more boot space model… by removing the false floor! ☺️

All good news then with Felicity, my car is going for an inspection after Christmas to make sure no rust has come back.

Yes. Almost. A couple of bits will require attention along the near side but we will show ‘full transparency’ (maybe literally) in a future video. All the best with the inspection on yours.

Looking good in there isn't it! I have polished in the boot before and will do so again when I get my 2CV Dolly back with all new boot floor! I like those new number plates with the dealer details - attention to detail all round! 👍

Thanks. I love polishing cars. Usually, I clean bonnet, door and boot shuts but this is the first time I’ve polished the boot floor. When you get your 2CV back it will be real satisfying… to put a coat of polish on that new floor. I am fussy with number plates but I always keep the ones removed from the car. Would have preferred it if you had gotten the new number plates done in the same period font. Adds to the originality imo.

The rear plate removed in the video, was original. The front was not. The new plates match the ‘original’ rear, even down to the squared off corners. Guess what that means… I’m happy.

@@LivetoDriveUK The point I was trying to get across was that it'd be nice if you went with an 80s style font. Don't have to be so defensive. It was just a suggestion.

@@charliecoco2115 that’s the problem with typing isn’t it. If we spoke face to face you would know I’m not being defensive… just speaking facts. The plate at the rear was a survivor, an original. That is what we have ensured was made. The world still turns…
