Ford Focus SEL Review | Should you buy one?

The Ford Focus, when it was being built, was a popular compact economy car that sold for a good price and sells for an even better price on the used market... at least before used car prices spiked. There's one problem though. The Ford Focus was known to have a problematic transmission even on new Focus's, so stay tuned for my input on that. Anyways, today I'm going to be bringing you a review of the Ford Focus SEL hatchback in it's final model year and will be discussing whether you should get one or not. I hope you enjoy the video!

Finally someone made a good video on sel trims which we don't get to see on yt often. I own one same color, winter package , pretty decent car nothing much to say not the best experience while shifting but turning radius is amazing and overall..drivers car Update owning after 3 years , dct transmission failure, changed clutch, acctuator assembly, cost around 3000 canadian.

I just got a Ford Focus 2018 titanium trim for 18500 with 1500 miles and it’s a nice car and pretty comfortable, and the handling of the car is amazing, I drove it for 1500 miles and did a road trip with 4 people, it’s is great

If you said the engine and trans is still used ford products today that’s not the issue that got it discontinued then. I notice a lot of people will make a video on why a car was discontinued and get it all wrong unfortunately. The ONLY reason this car is discontinued is because of SUV’s and ford wanted too. Nothing to do with the trans if it’s still Being used. Same goes for the 200 and dart. They are still Being made in the form of the Cherokee so whatever issues people like to pretend they have that got then discontinued is bs when it’s still being produced.

I am considering on getting 2017 or so and had a 2000 sedan and know how they handle and drive. I never had a hatchback and personally love the body design of them. You did a great review of the vehicle.

Creo que te equivocas, FORD ESTADOS UNIDOS no tiene control sobre este coche. Fue Ford Europa quien decidió ya no enviarlo al continente americano, el focus se sigue vendiendo en otros países y continentes actualmente. Este carro nunca fue americano, por eso en América dejo de venderse antes de tiempo. Porque Ford America nunva supo vender este carro como debia.
