A lot of people saying you're going too fast, but this was perfect. Leading review in why I actually chose this car, as I've never seen the self-park in action, or how well it will suit me when I too dress up as a 60 year old geezer.

I’ve got an st line x edition and I love it, only 125 bhp but in sport mode it goes well, extremely comfortable ride, holds the road well and I upgraded to B&O sound system which I’d say is a must for £500, also panaramic roof for £900 definitely a good option

Are the wing mirrors automatically closing/opening when locked an unlocked? And at night do the headlights come on when you unlock the car?

Halogen headlight, are they taking the biscuit? Great view. Considering between this and golf gti mk7.

Did the St line X you drove have ambient lighting. I saw a European one had it in a video but UK seems not? So much for ford's same spec for all approach

I've got same car but diesel and my speakers do the same I've downloaded android auto and that seems to stop it

I have an MK4 2016 Seat Ibiza FR which I love and is lots of fun but this might be my future car especially if I need something bigger and also fun as looks good as well! 1.5 petrol st line most likely will get!

Good review. Few questions as I'm looking at one of these for my parents (St line maybe but hard to find with parking sensors). Them wheels make the car a total different animal. Can the lane departure warning be turned off, would drive me mad constantly interfering. Do the 18s make it a very firm ride say on B roads? One other niggly thing that nobody seems to mention (so maybe its just me) is the infotainment screen. The knob that says 'tuning' is basically redundant and I wish to god you could use it instead as a rotary dial for scrolling through say your songs or scrollling through the infotainment rather than having to stretch and touch or drag when driving.

On my older focus you have an option to change sound to the driver side.

is the sub not standard?

We have an Astra K 1.6 110 (on paper same as focus and 0 to 60 etc); we had to test drive the focus twice, once in a far away dealer and once at home. No lie the Astra would leave the focus sitting....I mean even my dad who in his mid 50s and not as a big of a car head was turned off by the lack of oomph....when we came back the dealer was speechless by the objection that it felt slow....I'd say he never would have thought we would think its slow. Its baffling cuz on paper and everything they are identical. You should drive a used astra 1.6 110k; really nice low down torque
