@@cammy9r you’re right. Cutting and welding metal isn’t as straight forward as it might look and can cause the car to be weaker. Same as pulling out the structure of the car as the metal will not be the same strength as it was before. I like when Arthur does the repairs right but I don’t like watching him sometimes when he’s doing major repairs to cars that should never be repaired! Like the White BMW where it was really messed up and the Porsche where he cut the rear end off it and welded on another one. Too dangerous to repair that kind of damage and we all know the owner/seller of these cars will not declare that it’s been repaired. So makes for a death trap for the new owner who buys it in good faith.

@@Alexander_l322 Not to mention the Mercedes that had the roof cut off that he repaired. None of these cars could ever be repaired here in Australia, they'd all be totalled. Arthur certainly has a high level of skill and it's incredible what can be repaired over there, but not here. My mate's Honda Accord was totalled for a dented front fender and flat front tires.

@@BrucePierson some of that would be down to cost of repairs if an insurance company would be having it done but yes lots of the cars he repairs would be what we call in the uk category B cars which are beyond logical and safe repairs. Cars that need parts of their structure replaced and things like that which make them unroadworthy and dangerous in an accident. Those cars can only be bought by people with licenses and are used for parts only nothing more can be done with them but they can also be sold in the UK and shipped to other countries where they are repaired by people like Arthur then resold by bad people who clean up the paper work then the car is sold on with less miles and claimed to have never been in any accidents.
