I’m about to buy a 15 gt, but the guy put a borla exhaust on it and I think it sounds super quiet so I really wanna straight pipe or muffler delete, what would u suggest? Just for loudness I want it to be pretty loud

Harry Claps if you want obnoxious loud straight pipe it and put a roush x-pipe so it doesn’t sound to raspy, or you can go with a full Corsa setup to be super loud but not as loud as the straight pipe route especially if your gonna run headers on it

Muffler delete sounds good but mufflers must be done first, people who only cut out the resonator, it sounds like raspy shit, the best combo is to lose em both, i got a ford performance x pipe along with muffler delete axle backs and after market stuff sounds way better than just chopping your exhaust up

Irvinn Luxe well you DON’T have too, but if you’re going to do a cheap, easy mod like that, get rid of the resonator and put an x-pipe in its place. It sounds much, much better and gets rid of that raspy sound as if you were just to do a muffler delete.

Stang Lovers I had that set up on my 2015 5.0 and I wasn’t a fan of the way the car sounded at all. Spent the extra money and went to a full Roush exhaust. Sounds miles better.

Sounds cool but we have to think about our sanity. If everyone does this, we won't be getting any sleep because of all the racket day and night we will be surrounded by roaring exhaust EVERYWHERE!! In your neighborhoods, shopping centers, schools, churches, parks, parking garages and everywhere else that vehicles can drive! Why do you think that race tracks are always located outside of most cities?? Have these guys driven long distance with these loud pipes? I bet they will regret their choice once they have to hear the roar of their exhaust for 4 or more hours straight!

lol a 5.0 would kick any “hemi”’s ass. 6.4 or a 5.7, and throw some e85 and headers on it and it’ll keep up with a hellcat. they’re not even real hemis anymore it’s just a marketing name
