The best advise I've ever gotten from a fellow modeler, is he told me if ya wanna build a model, to replicate a realistic looking model car, is to look at the real car! That advise changed the way I build model cars! He was so right! Ive spent hours looking at real car engines, taking a lot of photos of real car engines, and the suspensions, and have made better looking models because of doing that. Just look at the real thing first.

I’ve always told myself to look at each part of a model as a model itself. For example, detail a carburetor as if you building a highly detailed replica of a carburetor.

this is the most inspiring modelmaking craftsmanship in video format I've seen. You make extreme detailing look effortless yet involved, utilizing proper tools, materials and expertise. No need for a narrative when the hands tell the story so well. Thank you for taking the time to share these projects with us.

The sound of plastic being snipped, the brush placed in the glue bottle or the sanding of plastic is pure ASMR to scalemodelers. Really nice that he doesn't "entertain" us with music.

it is very good but pictographic instructions are bad enough. While entertaining and informative I would enjoy a narrative too.

What can we build more than a brilliant linkage system on the gearbox?? Let me think. Aha 2 strips with each 4 holes for seperating the sparkplug wires to the ignition coil. How mad is that. We have been watching this video, my wife and me in the heat of the day in a heatwave with a big mug of coffee and mouths wide open AGAIN. Brilliant,i got no other words for this pieces of modelbuilding ART.

I’m building a similar car. 65 Mustang hardtop. I’ll use your idea on fabricating the fuel pump 👍. I’m adding air conditioning. It’s a challenge, but fun. I had a 65 GT hardtop when I was a teenager. It had A/C. I also had it bored to 302 and put aftermarket intake manifold and air cleaner. I like how you did scratch build your air cleaner. And I made the seats fold so passengers can get in the back seats. But not finished because too many scratches don’t polish well on the trim that swivels. I may do it over. I also like how you did 90 degree spark plug fittings to the distributor.
