I agree with you, it's just wrong calling that thing a Mustang. I have also now only noticed for the first time that it doesn't have door handles in the door skins. Still got your Tiguan? I took delivery of my brand new one 10 days ago and I'm loving it.

Very difficult color! Perfect work One question about primer before painting Do I need grey color primer or I can use any color?I need to paint my MKZ and Corsair same Lucid Red

You can use any primer but then you will have to apply proper grey sealer or grey basecoat to have the correct undercoat and smooth/blend out the primer lines because you will never cover a sharp grey or white primer line with this very transparent red.

Man oh man.. amazing job; I could watch your videos all day. Question for you: is there any specific reason why you went clear back and forth (up from the bottom in long passes from one end to the other) when laying down the base coat, but then for the clear coat it was kind of top down and all over the place (spray the fender, then move to the back area) as opposed to the same long passes used for the color coat? I was just wondering if that helps the clear in some manner or if it's just because the clear is more forgiving because it's clear and not potentially impacted due to the angle of application like some colors could be (e.g. metallic, etc.). Love the videos!

Yea with clear coat you want the start a nice wet edge and just follow that along the panels, i feel if i go edge to edge the clear dries by the time I walk from one side to the other thus not keeping the wet edge flowing and going if that makes sense. Basically how i did it provides a cleaner/smoother finish in your clear coat

Hi Andre, well done again. But what are you doing when you make your finish polish of the edge between the 2 doors and the back door and the side panel?? Because you start spraying the white Sealer first . Don‘t you have problems there ?

Are you talking about when gray sealer goes further than paint in the folded tape along the inner jambs? I try to spray very lightly and quick over the space and also face the spray gun away from the fold instead of into the tape line fold if that makes any sense 😅

Yes Andre , exactly. 👍👍As we always had issues we cover that part carefully , if possible we sanded it a bit …or we did not paint ,wet in wet , as we say .with a sealer . Great job anyway, love your channel. Regards from Munich / Germany @@LncPainter
