Hello Autogefuhl und Thomas. Yes, it is a charging point in the back of the Ranger and I believe that the 2.2 liter is the same engine used in the Transit. I love watching your car review's! Please keep up the good work. Thank you!

Great review as usual. Please review the new Toyota Hilux, with the 2.4 D-4D engine, I only found reviews about the 2.8 D-4D. I think it''s the best one in terms of design (my opinion) and price. A top full-optional (with all chrome elements, roll bar, lower bumper extra protection, automatic gearbox, leather seats, navigation system, roll cover system) one costs less than 50K here in Italy. A top Amarok 70k (but has bigger engine).

Very popular and probably the best ute here in Oz. With 4WD/all wheel drive specific ( Light-to-Heavy SUV's/Trucks ) reviews maybe you should add a couple of minutes off road track evaluation Thomas.

In New Zealand the Ranger and Amarok are very similar on price but the being a later generation vehicle it beats out the VW on things like blind spot warning and adaptive cruise which you can't get.

Does the rear loading bay get wet in the rain? Or is the sealing of it good? I was wondering if you load normal bags in the back if you can feel safe they dont get wet.

Great review, Thomas. I drove one of these today and you are right about the turn signal sound. It´s the start of " Da da da" by Trio ( 1982 ). Ford might be looking at a copyright lawsuit here :o) Not a bad choise, though.

Great detailed Review of a popular Lifestyle vehicle. Phew - that's longer and wider than a nice (and roomier?) Transporter LWB! Must have been fun in your basement garage! Sync 2 - you don't like it! Also, backwards for shifts up, forward for shifts down? Interesting. VERY good forward camera view on driving part. Many thanks Thomas.

thanks for the good in depth review. I've just bought/ordered a Wildtrak today. But we could only drive the XLT version so far. Also what aear of Germany is this video area from ? Wife and I have been visiting germany for 2 x 3months trip since 2011 and it look like Colone area to me!! :) Thanks again.

Since VW offered V6 diesels in Amarok it would be the only choice for me (in Europe). Also Volvo should consider this smart move as another wake up call..

i herd the touch screen is not that great on ranger and looks like its true..reaction time is bit slow and lagging. kind of disappointing as i really like this truck.

Nice car, but that automatic gearbox really sucks. It`s much to slow for this 3.2L even in "sport" mode so guys only manual!!! And sorry... not 9L/100km more like 13 with automatic in mix mode (city/motorway) :) I know that, I`m working in ford saloon :)
