Been so long ago , I can’t remember if I used ex or fat32 now.. I’m assuming that I did use fat32 as I put it into the video.. it might be that sync understands both file systems - cheers for the watch and comment :-)

I do agree.. It’s obviously cost as to why lots of manufacturers don’t do update over the air or a much more comprehensive wifi updating method. But I do think if manufacturers came together they’d probably be able to simplify that whole thing.. who knows what the future will hold - appreciate the comment

I had a 2015 BMW X5 and it used 3G cellular to manage everything, especially updates. No provider uses 3G anymore making it useless. My 2016 F-150 is pretty straight forward. At least Ford uses technology we can use for updates, etc. BMW claimed there was no workaround.

Hi, the update will enable both , however I only tested Apple CarPlay as I’m an Apple user

Hii - If it took that long via USB i'd suspect there was something wrong somewhere during the process of updating which may have caused it to go funny... however the good thing is the update isn't LIVE - the update downloads to the system first... then verifies its all good, then updates. So your system is unlikely to be fuzzedd - but I have heard of some focus drivers having to pull the fuse out for sync and re put it in to reset it fully. I'd suggest jumping on the focus forum for more guidance if its still not functional
