The Engine had knocking noise, turned out to be piston 3 getting stuck in the engine block and the connecting rod breaking the sump spacer and the block.
Engine :
CITROEN RELAY: 4HG (P22DTE), 4HH (P22DTE), 4HJ (P22DTE)
FORD TRANSIT MK7 And MK8: CVRA, CVRB, CVRC, CYFA, CYFB, CYFC, CYFF, CYRA, CYRB, DRF5, DRFA, DRFB, DRFC, DRFF, DRFG, PGFA, PGFB, UHFA, UHFB, UHFC
PEUGEOT BOXER: 4HG (P22DTE), 4HH (P22DTE), 4HJ (P22DTE), BK2Q
FORD AUSTRALIA: CVRA, CVRB, CVRC, CYFA, CYFB, CYFC, CYFF
IVECO DAILY

Thank you. Gives me a good insight in what I'm going to have to do on my transit engine. Does anyone know where i can get the pistons and bearings, gaskets and crank shells from at a reasonable price?

Hi I have just taken my engine out on my ford transit (it's a 2.4 model) I got a Haynes manual and it says to measure crankshaft endfloat with DTI Gauge, is this a necessity? Thanks

Very nice. Thanks for posting that. Just a quick question, would the engine fitted on boxer euro 4 be the same as euro 5? I'm referring only specifically to the block and compression , as I know the rocker cover and injectors, HPFP ,intake manifolf and other accessories are different
