In this ASMR German video I will be looking at a map of South West Germany, while performing map tracing, whispering and talking in a soft spoken style.
DESCRIPTION
In this ASMR video I will be speaking in German. I hope you find this foreigner speaking German to be relaxing and helpful for sleep! Drop me a suggestion for next week!

I‘m actually a bit confused why it isn’t marked yellow, I‘d say it‘s bigger than some of the other yellow marked cities

Mainz is the state capital of rheinland pfalz, directly across the river Rhein is Wiesbaden, which is the state capital of hessen. Frankfurt is also in Hessen, it's the largest city by population and economic scale. Nice that you mentioned Wetzlar, Herborn, Gießen etc

Würzburg has a team called Würzburger Kickers in the 4th division of german football. They were relegated twice in the last years from the 2nd to the 3rd to the 4th.

I have never heard of them! Anything with "Kickers" in the title sounds really American to me!

@@welshasmr82_german "Kickers" is an old fashioned german word for footballer. They are a few football clubs using the term like Stuttgarter Kickers (city rivals of VFB) and Kickers Offenbach (Rivals of Eintracht Frankfurt). Also "Der Kicker" is probably the most well known german sport magazine.

I live in Alzenau. It is located in the north of Aschaffenburg and about 30km away of Frankfurt. You can see it on the map.

Hey, you were actually right when you said that Frankfurt a. M. and Mainz are in different states. While Frankfurt is in Hessen, Mainz is actually the capital of Rheinland-Pfalz.😄 You know what I also think is funny? Even though Wiesbaden and Mainz are so close together they’re both the capitols of their states. I guess it’s not necessary to know but I like this little fun fact. :)
