One of the most, beautiful songs ever. I was 18 when this came out. Found the man and ruined it all myself. He married someone else, and so did I. I will always love him and he doesn’t know. 25 years later I still dream that he comes back and we are together and it feels so real that my heart is floating until I wake up. Lordy I still miss him.

A highly underrated singer and band

This song reminds me of velvety chocolate being spread on velvety chocolate-relaxing, comforting, exceedingly rich.

My wife and I got married right out of H.S. in June of 1981. I went to USAF basic training that fall and it was so hard being separated. I heard this song on the radio while I was in San Antonio and instantly thought of my wife. That was 39 years ago and we are still going strong.

1998-general hospital Jax rescues Brenda and Jason from a plane crash and flashbacks to all the best moments between her and him deciding right there and then that he still loved Brenda and was wasting precious time with her by not taking her back and if he found her he'd marry her and never look back! It was beautiful and I fell in love with the song and the characters of Jax and Brenda! I've never forgotten the scenes!

Foreigner!!!, the tops, was hooked with Cold as Ice, blasted that all the time, think I did get to see them, was so long ago, everybody on the planet was touring, not to mention long established groups like the Stones, ZZ Top, they weren't just still in the game they were constantly having their renaissance over and over again. Foreigner was/is a great band. They had a ton of hits. You might want to try one of their bangers, like "Urgent" or "Cold as Ice". Everything about this band is great, and the lead singer, Lou Gramm, just had the most amazing voice, with all the power and range you can get.

I am not a huge rock ballad or soft rock person, but it is definitely a good song for certain times. I grew to this song and know this song. Since I haven't heard it in decades I can actually appreciate it.
