I usually live in Kalibo for 7 years until my dad took me in Japan...but it's good to see the Aklan Filipino Bakery is still on business there bread is super good

You should visit Ibajay, Aklan. The biggest municipality in Aklan. It's halfway between Kalibo and Caticlan. They have a lot of falls you will truly enjoy.

My heart is really close in dress making. My aunt used to own a shop and make dresses until used clothes (ukay-ukay) and rags (which are illegal in the Philippines, btw) came in. Filipinos are very creative in making dress.

Their market is so organized. The tailoring shops are in one lane, the shops with kitchen stuffs are on the same lane too! And of course the carenderias and restaurants are in one lane. By the way, the little kiddo who approached you are so cute! She even said hi to the vlog! 😍

I visited there in 2018. Beautiful little town with wonderful shops and bakeries. And the people are friendly and welcoming. From a Canadian visitor.

Great shops to explore - man I wish I could sew and be creative enough to put it all together. It's a dying art these days as we simply pick up ready-made clothes. Bakery must have smelled amazing - baked goods always has the best fragrance ♡

Looks like a great place to visit. The dresses look amazing. You need a really good imagination to come up with some of those designs. The street food looked really good too. I am careful where I get street food from. Some are very close to busy roads so I kind of stay away from them but a lot of those kind of places have awesome food and it is all homemade.

Oh, you guys are so blessed. You get to explore most of the places in the Philippines. You have chosen the best decision to live in Iloilo. I grew up in Iloilo and I miss the land of my birth Philippines, especially my city Iloilo where my childhood memories gives me a feeling of melancholiness. I can't go to the Philippines right now because of strict requirement of quarantine. I am not vaccinated. But I believe that quarantine regulation will be lifted and will be gone next year. The Lord is absolutely good. Amen!

Stayed there first about 12yrs ago for a week had a brill time lots of happy memories, shame more tourists don't spend time there rather than just passing through to Boracay 😕
