When you follow this trial, there's a point where it slowly creeps in...Oh my god, this guy really did do this. The gravity of what he has done is incomprehensible.

This witness did a great job, clear and comprehensive.

The stealing his clients money especially the lady that worked for him and him telling her children he’d try to get them $1000,00 each then got over a million and kept most of of it is disgusting. A rich man stealing from those less fortunate is very telling of what kind of person the defendant is. I could never!

I’m still stuck on the fact that he told police that he “stayed in the house” and yet the video shows him at the kennel. The thefts, lies and forensics spell out what he was there to do.

Thought she was an excellent witness. She stuck to the facts and the science.

SO much evidence Against this guy… Incredible that anyone thinks they can pull off a murder with todays level of forensics. How does someone do this to their family to get themselves out of trouble? Too sickening to contemplate.

This lady and those like her are the unsung heroes in law enforcement that we all take for granted every day. She knows her job really really well we can all tell. She completely have my confidence and probably the jurors’ too that we can rely on her findings completely.

The amount of evidence against him is overwhelming. I am so grateful for a jury who was not caught up in his local status and listened to the mountain of evidence!

Everyone is county or is involved in this case is really professional.He tried to throw her off a couple of times but she kept perfect notes. It seems like the defense is desperate grasping for straws

These lawyers are so good at playing the steriotypical "I'm just ah country lahh-yer, and don't know a whole lot".

The guy who has 100 financial crimes , who tried to frame others, who hired his cuz to fake a killing, who cheated his housekeeper and a quadrapalegic mute man, didnt murder his son and wife. A ninja assasin pops into hickville hollow killed them and escaped.

This guy really did do this. plain and simple. Don't know how you could watch this trial and think anything else

Give these witnesses a desk to place their reports on. Also, give them a more comfortable chair. This is ridiculous. Raise the desk to cover private parts, called a modesty panel. This is 2023. It would cost very little.

The dude had the nerve to get narcissistic on the court at one point. He literally tried to convince the court he's innocent. He's guilty and it doesn't matter what he says he can't change the truth. The science speaks volumes. This witnesses is amazing and very smart. She should be very proud of herself and her team. They did a great job. I do believe this is what brought the bars down onto the case. He's been caught red handed, he's guilty. It's like Winnie the Pooh getting his hand stuck in the honey jar and claiming he didn't touch the honey jar.

There have been some brilliant witnesses in this case who cannot be shaken …. The evidence is damning

I was so annoyed with the lawyers ridiculous questions! “Why do you wear gloves when examining evidence?”--Does he think the jury members are morons? There was no reason for her to be on the stand so long-get to the point!!

The defendant's eyes and expressions are scary....and indicate anger in my opinion.

Alex’s problem was sheer “ Greed.” He stole from his Law Firm , Clients, Housekeeper’s Estate, and other unscrupulous deeds. The shocking act …. he murdered own son and wife for insurance money. Such an evil man. Hope the jurors see all the evidence and don’t give some “ bullshit” verdict.

I have been watching this trial since day 1 and Alex defence lawyers better have a smoking gun or there client is going down.

This lawyers questions are too much. He acts like no one can understand what he’s asking.

AM knows he's going down. This is an effort to control some of the damage and harpooning financially that is coming. The avalanche is gaining momentum.

What it sounds like to me in plain english. He fired a firearm with the raincoat on inside out. He (Alex) then washed his hands and changed cloths but the was so much residue it transfered back on to his clean cloths and clean hands. Not good for defendant.

If they had actually tested the first set of clothes that he was wearing in the video before he changed then I’m sure there would be a different outcome

so he may have worn it inside out not thinking they would check the insides for residue.

I feel like the fact he summoned only Maggie and Paul to be at that property that night is very telling. Then Maggie didn't go to his mom's house with him. That was the reason he wanted her there, supposedly.

I CRINGED every time he touched that raincoat. Just last week the blood lady was saying don’t touch it without gloves because it’s covered in chemicals 🥴😂

On the 911 call, the dispatcher told Murdaugh to put the gun he retrieved from the house INSIDE his vehicle before the police arrived. Instead, he just leaned it against the outside of his vehicle & told the arriving police that so that they would see that he had touched a gun, so that would explain gun shot residue on his hands/clothes. So doubt would be created whether he just had GSR from transference...not from actual shooting.

the prosecutor could have set up a table to put directly in front of the jury for them to see the evidence, I mean the way he lays it in the floor is just sloppy, in my opinion

Always fascinates me how guys like Murdaugh and O.J.Simpson maintained their 'innocence' right to the bitter end despite all the evidence against them.

That is interesting because in the video where he was sitting in the passenger seat with the officers or detectives asking questions, he had his right hand between his legs close to his groin. So finding residue in that area could be from his hand or coming off when he changed clothes. In my opinion that should be very questionable.

This is such a shocking case. The evidence where u hear the defendants voice on the video and other things that were said and done make’s definitely believe beyond a reasonable doubt that this guy killed his wife and kid. No money in any amount or trouble I was in would make kill anyone much less my child! I pray justice is served. Also once again you see how rich and influential people feel like they can get away anything….not wealthy people but some. To kill your child shows your heartless. And the poor wife sure didn’t deserve to die this way. This man is guilty

In the cop car video, AM has 2 pair of glasses. He already showered, changed his clothes and disposed of the "dirty" clothes. He changed into clothes he had already worn that had glasses in the pocket.

What is the court reporter doing with that device on her mouth ?

He planned his entire day to match up with his alibi(s). He called his wife and son to come home to be there for him because his father ended back up in the hospital, but then left them home alone to go see his mom? Makes no sense!

Good grief I didn’t realize about the residue on his clothes or on the “jacket tarp”. Or the shells had characteristics if other shells on the hunting grounds which came from family guns. He thought this out, except, he didn’t realize there was a video with his voice, the caregiver saw him at his mothers house at 6:30 am which he never did and she saw him carry a blue tarp like thing, rushing up the stairs and leaving it, or the gps and phone can track him and time especially the time of his 911 call. Residue on him and the guns should have been enough, then add one of the family guns was missing. If the care giver had not seen him with the blue “tarp jacket” they wouldn’t have looked for the blue thing and find gun residue. Also if he touched the bodies, there was so Much blood, why didn’t he have blood on him. He’d never tell the truth until he got caught. He would have kept stealing if he hadn’t been caught. He’d never confess the lie about not being there unless there was that video. He wouldn’t have changed his timing if calling 911 except when it was proven he made the call 20 seconds after he arrived at the kennel. All that is enough to conduct him. I didn’t realize there was gun residue every where or about the shells were same as in the hunting field , guns same as family had and one missing. Wow.

Sincerely hope that the jurors take on all the facts. And also the constant changes in Alex’s stories how everything took place. Pray the jurors don’t give “ a OJ verdict “ where all the jurors were fans of his and felt sorry if they sent him to jail.

I might see someone shooting Paul as a payback, but not Mrs. Murdaugh. Just don't see it. Leads me to think Alex is guilty. Pretty scary stuff...

How come that the prosecutor did not wear the gloves when handling the items but the forensic officer did?

So they can say he got gun shot residue from touching the bodies…. BUT! Why is it on the seat belt if he didn’t go anywhere after going home and finding his family???? Because I think he killed, went to his moms and cleaned up / changed clothes/ showered then drove back… that’s how it got on the seatbelt (gun powder residue)

The suspect is genius. This is why he said he went in the house and grab the gun after he found the body cause he was worried for a safety so he can say it was transfer from That gun and not the crime scene gun. That’s also why he made a point to say that he attempted to roll his son over because he’s gonna say that’s how he got gunshot residue on his clothes so that will be reasonable doubt and he will get off even though he absolutely is the person who murdered his wife and his son.

Superb witness. A true steel wall, sticking to the science and reiterated many times there were only two ways in which a GSR particule would be present on the evidence. The prosecution tried hard too. Excellent analyst.

One of the most unorganised courthouses Ive ever seen. They should have chosen a much larger room with more space. People are practically tripping over each other in front of the witness stand and the amount of clutter!🤯 They should have done better with this high profile case.It looks very unprofessional

She had to explain the jacket 3 times to this attorney! He turns around while she explains and then turns back around and repeats the question or asks the witness to explain AGAIN! And who cares how tall he is or was.

I noticed a SLED officer in the car grabbed his left Shoulder to console him when he was crying. Is AM left handed? Why would residue be on his left shoulder?

For me, his guilt was sealed when I heard him tell his remaining son Buster, on a jailhouse phonecall (Murdaugh Murders Podcast) bragging about winning a chocolate bar in a jailhouse card game. THAT is disgusting behavior.

No one has explained how he could possibly in that little time been able to kill two people with up close shots and been able to clean every spec of dna and gun residue off his body. The care taker confirmed he did visit, and he didn’t shower there and it would take a whole lot of scrubbing to get all that off. A 15 min drive to visit his mom, 5 minutes outside moms house, 20 minutes inside laying on moms bed, 15 minute drive back. That eats up the entire hour that he would have had to clean up all dna and gun residue. It literally makes no sense.

Must be the new GSR guidelines. In my career the kit tested for Barium, Antimony and Lead. Oddly, studies showed that people who had not fired a gun would have primer compounds on their hand, while those who had fired would not. We eventually stopped GSR testing since the presence or absence of residue proved nothing.

This courtroom is a mess! So much clutter and no room for the presentation of the exhibits.......And the attorneys' tables and court workers' desks - all a big mess!

Why on earth would they bring evidence in boxes to he opened and requiring the witness to wear gloves?! Hasn’t the evidence already been tested, documented, and bagged? I’ve never seen such a messy courtroom area, literally and figuratively.
