A few hairy moments but we were in control for most of the game. Great sub by Pep to bring Haaland on, we seemed to have more time and space after that and once again Ake was our outstanding defender and Gvardiol not far behind.

We had to battle today but once again found a way. It’s going to be very difficult to win our remaining games but I think we will do it with a few scares along the way. If we do go on to win the league this will be the best one under Peps guidance. Come on City.

Great vlog Ian - how good was Ake today?? KDB was better after Pep's changes. Doku has played so much down the left he feels out of place down the right. Haaland is back. Great to see Frank Clark and Paul Dickov too Ian - good win today against a very pacey Forest.

I thought we were a little sloppy with our passing today with KDB, Bernardo and Rodri all missing passes which is so unlike them. Pep was right saying that without the ball, the players looked so tired. We ask an awful lot of them and sometimes forget that they are athletes. Good win and another 4 to go

They were a tough opposition playing wonderfully open aggressive football. None of this getting everyone behind the ball and filling the goalmouth with blockers. They closed us down, tackled, intercepted, attacked and we were not used to such tough play. We were however, while not at our best, were certainly up to the mark and gave a gritty performance, the performance of champions.

The football Gods have sacrificed Liverpool, in order that we gain the knowledge needed to achieve immortality 🏆🏆🏆🏆. Liverpool are not out of the title race because they failed to defend better, create better. They failed because they missed a multitude of goalscoring opportunities We battered Forest last season yet failed to take our opportunities Outscoring our opponents is now a priority. No regrets in front of goal. Alvarez needs to get back on it also, his chance against Forest needed to be better. We may not have the goal difference, but the difference will be us scoring OUR goal chances. 🏆🏆🏆🏆💙⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️. .

I thought Forest were excellent today , poor finishing cost them. City looked tired and lethargic , with some sloppy passing and a lack of creativity up front.

"Great game?" "Brilliant game?" Young fans eh. That was the worst City performance in a very long time. If Forest had a decent striker we would have lost. We lost just about every single midfield 50-50. Passing was terrible. Defending atrocious. If we play like that at Spurs, we're done. It was a great result, though. I thought Gvardiol and Ake were the only redeaming features.
