Buatlah perkhidmatan shuttle bus Dari sini ulang alik ke nearest bus & MRT station kat area Tuas tu, especially during peak hour, maybe ada demand sikit pastu kat area ni. Buat JV dgn syarikat causeway link ke untuk perkhidmatan bas ni.

The government should intervene in the project and subsidize the prices to allow more locals to buy the properties in forest city. That will attract buyers and make the place livelier again

@@isaachiew676 The location is intentionally placed in close proximity to Singapore because of the convenience and easy access to enter Singapore via 2nd link. Many Malaysians who work in Tuas region can benefit from buying a property in Forest City due to the short distance and journey time to and from work. It can cater to Singaporeans who want a retirement home in Malaysia that is close to Malaysian border. The problem lies with the marketing campaign that focus too much on foreign ownership than the locals. The ratio should be adjusted to allow more Malaysians to own a property in Forest City rather than treating it as a cash cow by selling it only to the rich and wealthy.

@@annoyedcat9291 I live in JB. Most Malaysians will opt to buy a house in Bukit Indah, or Gelang Patah, because although it seemed further than Forest City, it is cheaper and have more amenities. And that only bridge link between Forest City and Johor poses a risk. What if it breaks? Nearest fire brigade and police station???? A retire home for Singaporeans which is super far away from the amenities of JB town. Come on. It is a disaster to begin with. You purposely and unnecessarily reclaim a land in the abundance of lands in Johor....

It usually takes some time, at least a decade for a place like this to be populated. Here in Brazil some projects like this, Brasilia, Barra da Tijuca, Paiva and many others have been built and people tought it would be a failure, the thing is you cant populate an area that big so fast, maybe the mistake was to build it all at once.

Built by foreigners for mostly foreigners. Malaysia has little to lose, much to gain from economic spillover effects and jobs for locals. Give it time, it will succeed due to its location. Maybe not in its original USD100 billion 4 island scale but it looks certainly nice and green.

Without any industrial or commercial areas for miles, there is no reason for people to live in the middle of nowhere. Maybe there areas will develop there within half a century, maybe never, by that “time” Forest City will be in an advanced state of decay.

Pergi lh dia 6 org..sampai sana,seorg pun x berani masuk,takut.. Dia ceritakan pd saya,bayangkan bangunan tu berselirat dgn pokok...mcm dlm hutan..kita berada sorg2 dlm hutan..itu lh ibarat nye.. saya ketawa je lh..saya kata,xde ape2,konsep mcm tu..nnti dh siap kau pergi lg sekali saya kata..dh cantik dh...

perhaps they can offer accommodation for the europeans like the germans etc to spend their cold winter here. with gas prices so high, it may be worthwhile to come to malaysia. organise some tours for them while they are here

From previous international documentary stated that this city will be doom because one of the reason is most of Malaysian are poor and can't afford to buy one. Justify?

Simply because it is not worth it. With that price I can buy a bungalow already, why settle with a pigeon hole, some more bloodily far and surrounded by tolls? If I wanna live in a condo that is close to Singapore, I would buy one near the causeway, within walking distance, don't even need to drive.

This project is a huge middle finger to Malaysians. It was built purposely for foreigners, not locals. They of course never said it outright, but try to even make an enquiry even today, you will get the coldest response.

The idea is great but the developers have forgotten or ignored some major factors to make it successful. Simply, few jobs opportunities (quality jobs) around this area. Road infrastructures not enough to cater to the islanders’ to move in & out of the island. No public transport network. They developers keep promoting this as a retirement homes…. Are they building a giant size “Old Folks Home” ??

Project ni bukan kerajaan punya..mcm mana nak jual benda yg bukan kerajaan punya..Projek keseluruhan harga100billion Dollar iaitu RM400billion ringit bila siap sepenuhnya..Kerajaan kena beli dgn harga mahal jual murah dekat B40, apa gilanya..Project ni mcm mana pun kena teruskan sbb dah bina, siap separuh pun xapa dah dari terbengkalai..

Lower the price to a level where local can afford, forest city will not be looking like a “forest” very much. Anyway, i hope in the end it will turn out to be a big success 🫡
