Күн бұрынThe reconstruction of the Forest Park Branch of the CTA's Blue Line continues. Part B of Phase I incorporates a subset of the area covered in Part A, but includes a odd quirks which we'll explore in this video. Plus, we get an update on the progress of the construction.

Why not build a connecting ramp on the west side of the Paulina Connector to reroute trains onto the Lake Street L and then back to Forest Park in emergencies and if further construction to the Blue Line if needed.needed. Also I think it was a big mistake that the Paulina Connector north of the Lake Street L was dismantled. It could have surved as part of the "FUTURE SUPER LOOP" and emergency connections.

Not really since the blue line runs underground mostly and the nearest elevated line is across the river
