Nice solo hunt Jerry! Man you were battling those trees trying to get into that site, holy thickness! War nickels have 35% silver because they needed the nickel and copper to support the war effort. Love finding those old copper wedding bands too bad they weren’t precious metals but such a personal item to find. That spring house is so cool! Thanks for putting out such great content, look forward to drinking my Saturday morning coffee and watching!

I really enjoy the way you put together your videos. You’re great at explaining without being narcissistic or demeaning. You seem like you are just explaining the techniques and also what you’re finding. Having a clock was a luxury back then.

It was great seeing you out and about Searching for treasure You reminded me of my ancestors old farms in the mountains The spring house is still there But different it stands about five feet tall All large flat rock and on the inside a ledge around three sides and they would put five gallon cans of milk in to keep cold for the milk wagon to come and pick it up Yes they were farmers I'm going to go out in the summer and see what i can find It will be my first time Thanks for sharing Fireman 🔥🔥🔥👍

In 20 minutes I found a 26' wheat cent, a 32' wheat cent, and a thimble. At 30 minutes, the freezing rain found me running back to my van. @@detectingpa8968"

You have me seriously wondering what the inhabitants did with the property. No obvious signs of farming or a barn, I would say you did very well in finding all those relics. That location has several question marks, such as the bricks and the poured concrete structure. Does it have an access road?

The 1861 map had a road that went by it but the new road was further away from it. I was thinking the same thing. Not sure what went on there.

Great hunt! Great camera work! You know something funny I never found a war nickel either, until I got the xp deus 2. It seems to be a nickel machine. I've dug more old nickels in the last 2 seasons! Great machine!

We have dug quite a few older nickels as well. It needs to start sniffing out that old silver now! Lol

@detectingpa8968 oh it will! I dug 101 silver coins this year with mine. And last year I dug 86 silvers. My buddy dug 107 this year and 106 last year. Just use the sensift program. I use the square tones. Discrimination at 6.8 I notch 10-40 to get rid of any ground noise and foil. Reactivity 2, sensitivity 95 or set to whatever is tolerable for EMI. Silencer 2 or 3 and I run bottle cap rejection at 3. Just enough so you know they are there but you won't want to dig them. I'll be posting a year end wrap up video Soon! You'll see all them silvers. Morgan dollar to war nickels!

Is there some rule in KZfaq that content creators must show their face more than the surroundings? This might have been more watchable if there was more site footage and less of your mug close ups.
