Likely the entire family are buried in this forgotten and hidden valley. They lived here, loved here and died here and all that remain are stones. They were not well known, nothing written of them and left little imprint on the land but today we explore what they left behind.

Scott is a great dig partner. Much better than some of your past partners. You guys work well together. Loved the video.

The combination of good fellowship always accents your videos when you detect with Scott. When you guys get together, I get the impression that the finds are secondary to just enjoying each other's company. Of course, there was nothing wrong with the finds both of you unearthed on this dig. The colonial musket trigger guard is one thing that has been on my want to find list for some time now. I have found musket hammers and even a broken ramrod, but a brass trigger guard still eludes me. That was such a nice find. Matthew 7:13 is one of my favorite Scriptures. I use it often for the committal.

Thanks Tom. I really appreciate your thoughtful comments and channel support. My buddy Scott is a refreshing change and has great character. We have fun out there and it's never a competition. The Trigger Guard is a first for me. I do know they made muskets here locally in a number of places near this property. Maybe it is from one of them.....

Greetings from southern Indiana. I am recovering from knee replacement and have a ton of time on my hands. I discovered your channel a few days back and I have watched 25 or 30 of your videos since then. As a history buff myself, I love hearing the stories and history about the pioneers and settlers and watching you uncover the relics that they left behind. Your channel is now one of my favorite ones. Please keep doing what you are doing.

I just found your channel about a month ago and I really enjoy it. I absolutely love history and the thought of finding an artifact is a dream. (You have Scott Bean with you today and I am related to some Beans. I was born in Oak Ridge, Tennessee and my family is from the area north of there.). Keep up the good work Todd, and the Bible verses you add are also greatly appreciated.

We do that.....when it's possible and many times it is. Some videos I show this, but many landowners whose place it is don't want to be shown publicly.
