When I try to explain to someone what I mean when I say the trees talk to me is so hard. I always end up sounding crazy, but it is exactly how you described it. It's like talking to someone who truly understands you and knows the answers you need. 💚

the fear of meeting another human being in the forest is what stops me from going to the woods alone. otherwise, I'm such a forest lover! I really do wish I lived somewhere nearby a forest :(

I just wanted to share that the other day I found myself humming a song. I was like, "what movie is this from?" I was mentally going through Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, and then I realised it was the music that you wrote that you usually have running in the background of your videos. (Hearing it on this one reminded me of that.) I thought you might be amused. :)

I am a water~mountain~forest maiden, and I am so inspired whenever I'm in their presence! I understand your connection; it fills you up in ways nothing else can! I enjoy your videos very much, and I am in complete AWE of how many ways in which we are alike! So amazing! We are motivated by all the nature around us, and there are no words to truly describe what it does to us. I can only say that I want/wish for all humans to know and feel what we do! I love the hidden life of trees!! It is such an interesting book 😍 and also quiet scientific. The green witche's garden also sounds great, I add that to my purchase list. Thank you for the recommendations 🥰💚

I definitely recommend the book "The Enchented Life by Sharon Blackie" it's based in animism, the sacredness of nature and how to life an enchented life. I'm only on chapter 3 but it's really good. The hidden life of trees is on my wishlist.

Before people and housing projects destroyed it all, I used to go out into the woods behind my folks' house and just sit on a stump and listen to the sounds of the wind and the trees. To me it was like they were talking. One day I walked through the woods and came upon this big field. In the middle of the field was this long row of old trees, like an island in a swaying brown sea. I went out to it and just stood there in awe as if I'd just found some wonderful undiscovered ruins. A twisted rusty barb wire fence ran the length of the row, overgrown and buried in the bark of the trees. I sat out there for a long time, mesmerized and captivated by the wonderous beauty of it all. This is the memory that comes to me when I watch this video.

In fact today I talked with a friend who, just as me & you has the same gift. *For anyone who wants to try:* search a tree you feel connected to (I even had one of those mind conversations with a tree in the city park in my town so it really can be any tree!) next you build a relationship; visits, talks, gifts (like water, or flower seeds), hi and goodbye hugs etc. And then on one magical day while you hug your tree and your forehead touches the tree the start of an actual conversation will happen🍃🌱🌳☀️🌈❤️

Dear Alwyn, I am fairly new to your channel, and I just wanted to tell you how precious your videos are to me! Each one of them is a piece of art and takes me into another world- or a piece of my inner self I had too little access to before… I always wait for the dark to come, then I light candles (a LOT of candles) and enjoy your videos. And by enjoying I mean I mentally bathe in them. We don‘t share the same religion (I am christian), so I learn so much from you and the way you present your craft, and I search for ways how I can apply some of it my own way in my own life. Mindfulness and seeing the wonders that surround us for example. - And I am SO happy that you uploaded your music!! Watching my first videos made by you, I did notice the beautiful music immediately, and then I learned that you wrote it yourself. You are incredible! Normally I would have to fight a bit of jealousy because you have so many gifts and talents bestowed upon you, but you share them with us, and so all that is a gift to us as well! Oh, I finally found it, the Q&As, good 😊 So pleasing to share the woods time with you and see how imagine names, map up and just smile)) These woods are public, yes? as you can walk there freely which wouldn't be possible if they were private. And those numerous trails and paths - show that people also like spending time there, plus they are friendly, good) Talking to trees is wondrous, I truly understand that. You are blessed to be in the world of music and have this world of your own 😇🌟 I wonder how and where you see yourself in say, 10 years?

I have had encounters with faeries. Some faeries have a tendency to be mischivous. I have great respect for them and I like them to live in the forest but not in my house. Had a lot of problems with them in the past. If you feel their presence I assure you, they are around you. Sometimes they decorate their place in the forest with flowers that look like trumpets, so can you know if they live in a place where you can feel their presence.

Bravo Alwyn! This is, in my opinion The Best Forrest/The Woods videos you have created for us. I Personally have always felt that Trees Are The Ancient Ones Of Life And Earth Magic.......... For Millennia and Centuries they have stood in Silence and Strength while Living amongst the creation of Earth and Species of Animal, whom they have Welcomed to live with them. What a wonderful video, so glad I've come across your channel, that forest is simply stunning, I've always been drawn to nature, and especially forests/woodlands, since I was little, wildcamping on my own in the woods from age 9, 38 years later, after being a naturalistic pagan for over 10 years, I've discovered my path as a forest witch, from communing with the trees, to staying out in all seasons, to natural remedies and wilderness living skills, your book collection is interesting too, the hidden life of trees is excellent, his 2nd book is just as good on trees too, I may have to do a video on some of my books, you have a lovely channel, good health, safe travels and blessed be, Craig.. 🙏🌿🍃🍄

I can so relate to being inspired by music in my earlier years and then nature later on! For me, it was a journey of becoming more “myself”. Not that I don’t like music still, but nature is just something really special which I’ve unfortunately ignored until recently!

Lovely video! I stayed focused till the end and that's a great compliment because my mind is...! But you know how it is I think! And I believe you, of course I do! I always get answers in the woods! The woods always knows what I need! I read somewhere: a walk in the woods is a walk in the unconciousness. I love that frase!

My goodness, I wish I could travel through those forests for hours on end. Magickal existence can never be denied; I love this enchanted forest and it fires up my passion to live in one of the world. My elf ears would give me away to the faeries though hahaha. Your joy from being in your element is such great energy! Ps: love how you philosophize the meaning of automatic naming while soaking in the vibrations of Mother Gaia More like a giant sleeping cat or something, for that uprooted tree!

Lovely Alwyn, thank you. Interested to hear your book recommendations. There's a couple there that I'll have to look out for. Always keen to hear about any more. Love the Green Man tree and the Orangutan (Alexa, how do you spell it?), reminded me of a tree close to where I grew up, and the silhouette looked just like a witch with a pointed hat!

Fun to see you without make-up after your shower, and you are a natural beauty. I am neither Wiccan nor witch, but I dearly enjoy your connection to Nature. I, too, can't express how much the trees mean to me, and I go to the woods and gently touch the soft, green moss, because it fills me up, just like having my bare feet on Mother Earth. Thank you for sharing your many talents and your Enchanted Woods!! Also, the hollies I often see in your woods...are they Ilex opaca/American hollies? That is my most beloved tree.
